    Hello everyone,

    I have just a question.

I’m having a newborn and my 186 visa were approved March 2021.
I’m afraid I won’t be able to come back and  finish those 2 years with employer after visa being granted.

Anyone having similar experience with leaving employer or work only part time after visa being granted?

    Thank you

you have full permanent Residency rights  you can leave your employer anytime even if condition for you visa approval was to work for your employer for the next 2 years.
but just to be sure ask an immigration lawyer

Definitely you have to work for employer. Doesn't matter if its full time or part-time.

  4. I got an officer send me email and she request more information
However, i login to my immi account. I accidentally press "information provided" and now the status changed to "application in progress". But I am still waiting for my agent to upload these documents,She’s going to upload the next week .What should I do?

Finally had a bit of movement today, my company got a call this afternoon from Home Affairs, asking if I'm still employed, if I was stood down because of Covid and if they see me being employed for the next 2 years. Shortly after my nomination was approved.

My account is still showing "Received", but fingers crossed for some movement soon.

During lockdown did you was stood down?

Micgeo I can’t believe you visa is till not granted. They asked you for “position availability” ages ago.

My Chef colleague had applied September 2019 and they just called our director 2 weeks ago asking if he is still employed and literally 1 hour later he got his PR granted.I’m same company as restaurant manager and mine file isn’t opened yet.

    I know I don’t know what’s happening
