  2. Thanks! All the best... I have applied for 190 NSW with 60 + 5 State points. Keeping my fingers crossed
  3. No, I did it from India. I got a positive assessment on 2nd July 2018
  4. In my case stage 1 assessment for CHEF took about 3 months.
  5. What makes you say that? You got an invite with 65 points as a cook. Chef is considered higher than a Cook anyways and is always in demand I believe...
  6. Hi everyone !!! I am a 24 year old qualified chef with three years professional degree in Culinary Arts achieved in 2013. I have work experience of 2.5 years and continuing. I have total of 60 points (Age:25 Education:15 English:20).....Currently looking to apply for PR (subclass 189) PTE: W-90 L-89 R-81 S-82 I am very confused now about getting my skills assessed from VETASSESS since all I need is a positive assessment as I do not need points for my work experience. However, I am wondering if VETASSESS would actually give me a +ve assessment given my work experience..... The main question is that Should I apply for skills assessment now or is there any minimum work experience one needs to have before applying for VETASSESS? It is an expensive affair @ 810$ and I would like to be sure before moving ahead.... Are there any chefs out there who have had an experience with VETASSESS? Please your feedback would be of a great help....! Thanks in advance!!
