I m same as you mate it's been 1 year 3 months still no news. I don't understand what's going on? It's very hard time i can understand your situation
Omg , it's is RIDICULOUS.... what's your timeline mate and did u call immi about your file...?

Ok so Today marks a complete one year for my application and still no news , god knows what they have done with my application and the thought that will they they ever look into my application? Gives me so much stress every single second....

Yes, thank God - got it a few days away from one year but we're only halfway there SO we're not breathing until it all comes through - scared/happy, ha ha!
Oddly enough, I rang them last week and the lady said that visa hadn't been allocated but that she could not disclose information RE nomination. She also said that we were still technically within the 90% (processing timelines) as we hadn't reached on year yet! I didn't share this here, as thought it might give false hope. I'd actually told my employer that I felt the IMMI lady was subtly trying to indicate that my nomination had a CO - but we laughed it off to wishful thinking. Who knew??
Oh and the nomi grant states WA PESE..
And that's normal my friend but at least the hardest part is over ..... I so hope and wish that mine and everyone else who been waiting longer follows the same pattern as well...[emoji120][emoji120][emoji120]

Thanks for the well wishes everyone! Longest wait of our lives after being here for so long - hope we hear more good news soon...can't really celebrate when we're only halfway through - we're still not fully relieved but so thankful!
badaich87, yes, unbelievable - making peace with uncertainty is helping my sanity. [emoji4] RE updating documents, only thing I know is that my employer's MA uploaded updated employment confirmation to their account a few months ago in anticipation (given how long we'd been waiting). I also added my YE 2016 PAYG late last year along with some recent payslips.
Ok thanku really hope to hear about your pr grant very soon ... hopes and prayers all the way....[emoji106] btw what pese was it finalised by, any idea...!?

Hi DE COOK, CONGRATS and hope you get your PR very soon! I added you onto our spreadsheet - by the way, may I ask if you're from an LR/HR country? How many people are on your application and which processing centre please? I will update on the sheet - will give the rest of us hope! It's refreshing to hear from another APRIL 2016 applicant - I hope your nom approval heralds more good news for the rest of us waiting from early last year Zee14042016 Apr 2016 badaich87 @Gary1985.
paramsahota - Hi, have they never been in touch? Have you tried following up lately? What's your occupation? I can't see you on the spreadsheet.
bradfords - I rang IMMI about this and was told that police checks from overseas don't need to be redone EVEN if we had gone for a quick visit after the checks - it's only affected if you have travelled to that place for X amount of time (I THINK at least 2 months) after the checks expired. IELTS has to be valid upon lodgement so it's okay if it expires before decision. As for the medicals, I'm not sure BUT a few years ago, we had a temporary visa application (while onshore) that took longer than expected and we were asked to redo it because it had expired...but that may be up to the CO's discretion? They should really review that practice - it's not our fault.
Thnx lizzielizzie for the tag, it really does bring a bit of hope for all of us.... -
I called immi today and they said my nomination was approved a month ago. My MA didn't even tell me that. Still waiting on the visa. But that probably means visa can be far away even after nomination is approved.
Visa and Nomination : 5/08/2016
TRT
Visa Docs Requested : 15/02/2017

So they did tell u about the nomination..?? But whenever I call them they say you Re not the authorised person to inquire about the nomination file as it's between the employer and immigration

They asked VAC 2 payment for the secondary applicant.

What does he/she say? this is just so unfair.. I really hope the DIBP starts giving more information on the processing time.
Also I can see on the spreadsheet that there are few TR and DE still waiting from 2015 and beginning 2016..
@Badaich87 do you think the longer processing time for your application is due to the fact that you are HR? How long did your 457 visa take to be granted?
Sorry - so many questions. I am just trying to understand how the processing time works.
To be honest I have no idea anymore mate, ..... it could be or it could be my occupation (CUSTOMER SERICE MANAGER) ......all I can think of is it's pure luck there were a lot of approvals for people from HR countries who had applied much later then me so I guess we can never actually find out how immi prioritise applications .....

Thanks @sunshine11111, how long had they been expired before you got your grant?
Thanks @jess6 and @PierreC - and yes, I reckon the overseas police checks and IELTS would definitely take more than 28 days. Pray it doesn't come to that. This wait is unbearable.
Hey lzzielizzie I'm also just gonna wait for the CO to ask for them (hopefully they will recognise the amount of time we have already been waiting for) ....still trying to stay a bit positive ...[emoji12]

Hi Folks
Got the best phone call yesterday from the agent confirming PR granted. Such a feeling of relief - this forum has been excellent keeping me sane (most of the time).
Also - was the best birthday present ever!!!
Good luck to all those still waiting - hoping it won't be too much longer (particularly the ones waiting longer than me - so unfair).
Congratulations .... enjoy your new life as a Pr .... [emoji106][emoji4]what's your timeline...?

Hi @badaich87, @marianaammon, @jess6, @Vickiw89, Zee14042016 - what a nightmare, huh???
We are hitting 1 year in a few weeks. The good news is, I've stopped constantly checking...the bad news is that I'm no longer expecting to get a CO allocated anytime soon. Just gutted by this unfair process - complete, solid application (at least by their published standards) - but still no CO allocated after 11 months, and NO explanation or helpful input from IMMI. Beyond ridiculous. Contacting them is useless too as they even act like we're irrational and impatient for questioning the long wait.
Also, asking people to please stop hiding the older tabs on our spreadsheet. Those are not neglected updates - there are still many waiting from early 2016 and late 2015. Let's not forget them too.
Dear IMMI, thanks for working hard and for all the PR grants. Please try to remember all the older pending files - give everyone a fair go!
Hey lzzielizzie thanks for summing all that I wanted to say as well..... it so true I applied with all the documents attached everything done but now when the CO will be allocated (don't know when that will happen) they might ask for the updated documents which is so unfair as well as it's not our mistake that we are still waiting fir a CO allocation......

i know exactly how you feel, it's great that September are being approved already but I wish they would remember the others too that have been waiting for so long! Are you onshore?
Exactly what I think..... yea mate I'm onshore

know how you both feel, ours is 10 months and 5 days, I am constantly checking my immi account! Got my ma to check up on our application and they've advised we haven't been given a case officer yet, the wait is killing me! Starting to worry
See that's what hurts more when we try to follow up in the hope to get some important information about our file and all we get as a reply is that our case hasn't even been allocated which we obviously can see on our immi accounts as well ..... same bloody stupid reply every single time .... I've literally lost all my patience ... try to stay positive but it has stretched so much that even trying is not helping anymore ....[emoji36][emoji30][emoji31]

I know that's their reply each one of us which is so unfair as it doesn't give us any hope to how long we need to still wait ....
