I did mate Infact a couple of times in last 1 month but they don’t give any hopeful information but just the usual old and boring rely that just wait and we will contact u once your file is allocated.....

Waiting since May 2016! CO asked for extra documents 2 months ago and no news since. I'm so lost and upset with the process. Are they clearing up transition stream first and then picking up DE? Frustrated but unfortunately extremely helpless. I can't believe some of our applications are being treated so unfairly. Anyone else from May/June 2016?
I can exactly feel your frustration mate as I’m in the same boat as u . I applied on 27 April 2016 in transition stream as a customer service manager and so far haven’t got any progress......[emoji35][emoji30] have tried calling them so many times but the same reply every time that we will just have to wAit no idea how long it could take ......

Yes mate, you have the right to ask them as you have already reached 18 months. Let’s see what they say.
Regularly following them may force them to open the pending 2016 files.

Haha.. in the same situation mate.
My friend called them yesterday, they said the remaining 10% ones should wait for 15 - 16 months as they were very understaffed.

And now I'm gonna question them that if those 10% have been waiting 18 months without any contact then what should they do ......???? I really wish we were somehow be able to push them to finalise the 2016 applications first and then get on to 2017 ones....

Did you try to call immi？As per my last call with immi，they would advise the status for the cases pending more than the posted processing time，which is currently 8-13 months.

Unfortunately they don't mate. L they do is give u the standard reply which is " your file hasn't been allocated yet , sorry for the delay but u just gonna have to be patient and wait but no one knows how long ...... I've been waiting for nearly 17 months now and have called immigration around 5-6 times but everytime got the same reply.... this whole system is so not fair for some of us..... [emoji35][emoji35][emoji17][emoji17]☹️

Immi just visited at my salon 1 hour before....i was not there ....any idea when they reply back ? So much worried....22 months after apply 186....on bridging visa now....very depressed....i don't know what they will do now...

Looks like they are processing till June 2017 now? No one understands their logic...
This just doesn't make any sense anymore as they keep changing the up to month but April 2016 stays the same for almost over a year now.... so depressing and frustrating for all of us , specially the ones who've been waiting longer than 15 months with not even a file allocation yet .....and the wurst part is they still say u will have to wait with no specific timeframe given about the wait . ....[emoji37][emoji37][emoji37]

Yea mate I'm still waiting from April 2016 and I did call immi last to last week but they said the same thing that it's still not allocated and it's not just my application that in the waiting there's few others as well so we will just have to wait . And I also sent them an email last week which brought no response other than that automated reply email. So frustrated by this wait and immi'sway of handling applications ..... god knows how long still we have to wait ...[emoji31][emoji31][emoji31][emoji37][emoji37][emoji57][emoji35][emoji35]

Hi mate u can surely check it by creating an immi account on immigration website and then importing your application into your account using your TRN number. But I hope that don't have to wait as long as few of us have been , We share the same date of the timeline but with an year difference , so basically I applied on 27 April 2016 and still haven't heard anything yet , have tried calling immi asking god updates but no help ... god knows what they are doing with our applications but that's the sad reality unfortunately , seems like they have forgotten all about us. Family of three in the application (My child and myself (main applicant) are citizens of a LR country whereas wife is citizen of a HR country)
Nomination firm (which I am working for): One of the biggest professional services (accounting) firms in Australia/Globally with annual revenue in billions.
No further documentation requested from DIBP.

Completed 14 months n 11 days not a single update on my file very disappointed n stressed. May lord help us all with positive news.

Yes, I was on BVB when my file got approved.
I had been on BVA since Mid January 2017. My BVB was approved Mid June 2017 and was valid until September 2017.
I went to New Zealand for work in June and I am flying home to France on Friday.
My MA was very good and reassured me a lot about the BVB so if you have an MA, I recommend chatting with him/her.
Great thnx so that at least assures me that once on BVB you still stay in the queue and they don't just put your file aside . I do have an MA but not as gud so I basically have to double check everything myself before taking any decision .,but thanku for the reply and congratulations once again dear[emoji106][emoji4]

Yeah - thought about you - I guess their answer to that would be "90% are being processed within xx months but there is no maximum timelines". They told me that on the phone when I called the second time.
In my case, I just asked my MA how long it could take from allocation to final decision and same kind of answer...
I guess in my case, we got told because we asked so many times. Many people just don't even know when the case is allocated, it just goes from "Received" to "Finalised" which gives an impression of speed while actually nobody knows how long it took.

Yea exactly, I don't even think they have any sort of procedure or process in place , it's just something very unprofessional and unorganised way of dealing with the applications . So over it now , no hope , no contact nothing from immigration's end , I'll still try my luck tomm. And call them and see if they still reply with the same annoying sentence that "u just will have to wait" , don't know what they mean by that probably god knows fir how long and just completely forget about your application but they don't understand how frustrating it is to be left hanging like that for never ending wait and how it really effects our day to day life as everything is just dependent on there one decision ( all our future plans ).......every new day , new week or a new month brings hope but then it all starts fade as it still doesn't bring any sort of ray of hope . I soooo try to not think about it but just can't take my mind of it as it's been 15 months now and the file sitting somewhere without anyone even touching it..... please god how much more patience do we need to show to get it ... please help us now[emoji120][emoji120][emoji120][emoji120][emoji31][emoji31][emoji31][emoji31]☹️☹️

Application went from "Received" to "Finalized", no extra docs requested, no contact, nothing, just like that.
