your friend is so lucky. I applied on the same date - no news. And I called immi today and was advised to be patient and not up to my file yet.

You need to give a call to immi directly, at least you will know if you have been assigned a CO or not.

my MA going to email today to immigration to find out. Still you recon do I need to call them ?

So finally it is my turn to update the spread sheet. Last evening I received an email from my MA advising that my visa has been approved. It took time for the news to sink in and I literally ended up in tears.

9 months of wait wasn't easy with news of constant disruptions in processing coming through.And I feel for each one of you who are still waiting for their visa's.

Reading through the above comments of people sharing their stories gave me hope and support and kept me sane through out this wait. Thank you to each one of you!

hi Dave , are you direct entry and which occupation?

So I ended up calling Immigration for an update and the lady said its assigned to Team 1 and under assessment and added that the application will not be looked into until the end of this month!

She didn't really had an explanation for why its taking so long but did confirm that a case officer has been allocated and no further documents have been requested.

 

Hopes are shattered :daydreaming:
