I think they always wait 6 month(+ few more days) since your visa lodgement.

My application was lodged 2 month after my nomination(end of September), so I am afraid I have to wait another month for visa, though CO is already allocated

I am happy to announce that I got my PR GRANT just 35 mins ago. I am so happy! I called them earlier and they told me that I have a case officer, same thing as what they told me last week.. And I did not expect to get it later today.

The long wait is over! 192 days of wait is over..

Below is my timeline again:

Nom Date: July 31, 2015 ; Nom Grant: Feb 10, 2016

Visa Date: Aug 14, 2015; Visa Grant: Feb 22, 2016

Yes , I know that CO = case officer

But what means "CO allocated and waiting time up to 8 month" ? does this mean that CO is not working on my file until time comes?

Called them up last week, the number is stated in your visa application acknowledgment letter.

They told me mine has a CO allocated but no news yet on my visa grant.

I called them, they told me same(CO allocated) and waiting time is between 6-8 month(I am LR)

Just want to understand , what means "CO allocated". Does this mean that my case was already assigned to specific CO and it is waiting in the queue?

Is it possible to call DIBP to check application status? if yes what is the number? Or communication is via email only?

@Zet01 any update? It looks DIBP forgets those whose nomination is already approved..

Guys, I have question:

Prior to the year 2013 MA could submit application with the "decision ready" status.

Such status could make the application to be reviewed immediately by CO(without waiting time).

In the year 2013 DIBP abandoned this practice and now all applications have to wait in queue.

So my question is following: can MA still influence processing speed? By the authority, relationships etc. anything?

I wonder whether the fact that nomination is approved makes DIBP processing your visa faster.. Or visa will be processed according to general queue rules(6 month, etc.)?

Yes, it is time consuming.. so I suggest you prepare it now in case CO ask for it..

My MA asked for this form straight from the beginning

I think there's been some confusion between Form 80, which has been around for some time, and the new declaration that requires you to state whether you've paid an employee to receive nomination. This declaration has been required for all 186 and 187 applicants since 14 December 2015.

This what i was told too.

Regardless whether you applied before or after 14 dec you have to submit this form

Last year Nov , Only English language evidence requested for secondary applicant, we decided to pay SVA fees. " second visa instalment "

 

In January 16 , immi requested : PAYG 15 , recent payslip , New employment contract and Holidays records. on 5 days notice . which been provided in 3 days . after that no response . on waiting and waiting ... praying

English evidence is required for application.

It just took 4 min. to get the PR

I will just probably try to be more patient and rely on my visa application date of mid-August, so I don't keep on disappointing myself.. the wait is really a pain.. but yeah, will try to focus on other things for now. Thanks!

Yes, give it a deadline in your mind for example for me it's 29th of Feb. If I wont hear back from them by 29th of Feb. I will call my MA to ask about it.

I see that Zet01 application date is different from nomination date.

Is DIBP always processing PR grant in different date from nomination grant in such cases?

Based on my observation the answer is yes

guys, my MA just sent me brand new form : declaration for not paying for sponsorship, which I need to sign and send back to DIBP. My employer had to sign similar form few weeks ago. if you did not get this form talk to your MA, this is must.

Nomination applied in December 2014 approved in May 2015 Visa applied on 24 July 2015 still application received no answer. I dont know how to add my timeline in to spreadsheet.
