Hey, I had intention of doing the same but thought would give them a week or two before follow-up. After seeing your post, I requested wife to give AHC ISL a call on current status. But it seems like there were experinecing some issues today and hence call did not go through. I shall get it checked on Monday. Much appreciated.

Thanks a lot. Please note that the CO will ask you at start of the interview call if you want to talk in English or Urdu. Questions asked from my mother-in-law & wife were all around the relationship history statements we submitted. AHC ISL called at landline at around 10:10 AM and mother-in-law picked up the phone. So, he talked to her first. The interview call lasted for around 15 minutes. Please share if anyone else has got visa grants recently or CO interview call. Cheers!

Alhamdulillah, my wife got the interview call today. They spoke to my mother-in-law first and asked her few Qs. Later, they spoke to my wife. Interview call lasted for around 14 minutes. I have just noticed there is "Approved" appearing next to my name (sponsor) in Immi-account and I can no longer attach new documents. Although, any further docs can still be uploaded in my wife's section (applicant). Any idea, when can visa grant be expected? :wink: Please share if anyone else has got visa grants recently or CO interview call. Subclass- 309, DOL: 9 Feb 2016 (online)

Yes, I uploaded that detail on behalf of one of my close friend, ideal case MashaAllah : VISA Granted in 4 months 6 days. I have mentioned that in the comments on that URL that this case belongs to one of my friend. No rumour, I was one of the form 888 witnesses for him. The whole purpose of uploading that was to portray better impression of AHC ISL timeline that miracles do happen, God willing. I shall try to edit the case or maybe upload it with a different ID just to clear the confusion. Allah Kareem.

@Noy : Thanks for sharing visa timeline Well, now we have somewhat better expectation of interview call because of this recent case. It is roughly 7 months as of now after DOL unless there are many applications lodged after 6/1/16 which can affect our estimate

I hope this new week brings with it more visa grants + CO interview calls. Also, we have NO idea what DOL online apps are being looked at CURRENTLY.:rolleyes:

Not sure of working days but here is what AHC ISL website says about telephone enquiries though : ".... only available to answer telephone enquiries relating to applications that are currently under assessment, between 08:30am to 12:00pm Monday to Thursday." Hi, Sorry, I have no idea about what dates are getting grants these days. Other forums are pretty much inactive. And you cannot imagine how many times i checked this thread only to find out last post was by JBassi, lol. For high risk applicants, based on this forum and friends' circle, I know that it can take anywhere from 1.5 weeks to 1.5 month for visa to be granted after CO interview call. I wonder why is it taking so long for SCO to grant visa. Yesterday's outage must have added a delay too. :err: Lets keep fingers crossed and everything will turn out really great, God willing. Hi micalparkz, How are you going with the visa application? Its been a while now after the interview call, you should have the visa grant pretty soon. I think based on previous post of usmanyo, he lodged paper application on 1st March 2016. Its great to see some progress on pakistani case, also maybe because Immi-Account was down almost whole day today, AHC might have thought, yeah lets sort out paper applications first, lol. Cheers!!

Hello Everyone, any visa grants or interview calls recently? I have uploaded my recent trip photos to Pak , sent them an email and got the generic reply in 5 days time: "Thank you for uploading the documents on the IMMI account". When called, we get same reply : Visa in initial stage, standard time is 9-12 months. Wait for CO interview call. Documents are complete, we may request if we have to. No interview call so far to my wife, DOL: 9 Feb 2016 :confused:

My wife has called AHC ISL twice up til now, this month and last month. All we get is a generic reply from the operator: " Your documents are complete and please wait for interview call. If we require any further documents, the dept shall contact you. Standard processing time is 9-12 months. " DOL: 9 Feb 2016. (5+ months wait already) :err:

One of my friend who has been through this process advised me that his wife was told by AHC ISL that we have approved your application and it will be finally approved by Aus. I am assuming the final decision is taken by some on-shore team. Also, ImmiAccount application status will change once the final decision has been made by the dept. The NEXT status after "Assessment under progress" is "Finalised". There is NO interim status to define if its due final decision. One of my friend's wife (just a couple of months back) got visa grant after around 1.5 weeks of interview call. Please advise if you know of any update to Pakistani applicants. Any interview call received so far? All I am trying to figure out is what cases are being worked on nowadays. Congrats micalparkz, yes your visa grant is very near. Within 1.5 weeks. Pray for us too, DOL is 9 Feb 2016, waiting for CO interview call.

Hi all, My wife's documents are about to get completed and hence, I shall be applying for her 309 within the next week. Just a brief overview, I married my first cousin, so know her from childhood and is an arranged marriage. I went to Pakistan last year to perform Nikkah/marriage and wife stays in her parents home as we have not done the Rukhsati (sending off) yet. I had to come back to Australia to continue employment right within ten days of Nikkah/marriage. After the visa is granted, Rukhsati would be done so that she can leave parents' house and can come with me to Australia. [Q58 Form 47SP] When did you and your partner commit to a shared life together to exclusion of all others? What am I supposed to write here :dull:. I am thinking to put the Nikkah date but have not actually started the shared life yet as No rukhsati. I shall be including pics of all the events we attended together during my 15 days stay in Pakistan as well as some pics from childhood to prove what we are saying in relationship history is true/ family marriage. Calls history would be screenshots of whatsapp, skype, viber etc. Also have made a couple of financial transactions although her daily expenses are being done by her parents. The only thing I am worried about is if I say I have not done rukhsati yet, would it really matter, has anyone seen visa rejection due to this? We have all the official docs : Nikkah Nama- English, NADRA -MRC, FRC (Birth and Marriage), Passport and CNIC with husband details. Wedding Card, 2 * Form 888s. Any suggestion tips would be helpful. Any document which I might have missed for a marriage where Rukhsati not done yet. Cheers!!! :laugh:
