I had 4 deliveries of water hopefully enough to last until the verandah is built and the rains arrive ... -

I had to put more rocks there ... had more , heavier material delivered to repair the pad ...

there was a storm the weekend I moved in which caused some of the tank pad to be washed down ... -
the material used to make the pad is very dusty when it is dry ... as the pad is built on a slope I built the sides up with rocks ... -
testing the " soil" we have to see what kind of pad I need ... -

do you have to get permission to plant natives ? ... is that on your property ? ... -

finally a plumber has been sent by the builders to complete the work that should have been done before delivery ...

all the back filling done ... the property will look better when the verandah is built all the way round and the garden is planted ... the Shire insisted I had concrete paths all the way round in case the property is swept down the hill in a storm ... the day I moved in we had a massive storm with torrential rain and hailstones ... the house did not move an inch ! ... -

the septic tank is in ... I will start planting in the autumn ... -
the fridge / freezer is behind the larder ... it works well there as it means I have a lot of work top ( British ) counter top ( Australian ) ... -

my bedroom is not large but the mirror doors of the wardrobe make it feel bigger ... almost floor to ceiling window as the view is lovely ...

got funny looks when choosing the sink as I said I like to hand wash my cardigans etc ... old fashioned ? ... -
bathroom with a sensible larger sink ... and a large shower with room for two ...
