settled in ... rugs down at last ... -
the first of a few photographs of the ugly view in my back garden ... I am planning the planting to block it out ... looking forward to watching them grow ... -
the verandah is finished except for the connection to the rain tank and the down pipes ... the swing seat was given to me ... I look forward to using it ... -
the concrete covers on the septic tank are now covered with " soil " ( crushed rock ) ... I have planted native ground cover plants either side of them ... -
the concrete septic tank covers ... the leech drains run across from one side of my front garden to the other , so I will have to be careful what I plant and where ... one of them is close to the surface as there are huge rocks underneath ... -
all the roof sheets are on the front verandah ... -
not a moment too soon ... relatives from the UK arriving in a few days ... cannot have them waking up covered in frost ! ... -
the first of the verandah roof sheets going on ... the tree in the pot came from my granddaughter's garden ... she did not want it ... looking a little neglected ... lots of TLC needed ... -

work on my verandah will be starting soon so I will be taking photographs ... also having a wood burner put in ... and now everything is unpacked interior photographs too ...

nothing else has happened yet ... finally got permission for the verandah ... once that happens there will be more photographs ... how is it going for you ? .. -
definately interested ... would love to see and hear all that is happening with your build ... -
