  10. Hello everyone, Just after some advice, coming to Melbourne soon, we've never been before and looking to stop somewhere within the city, where is the best place to stop to explore the different areas tourist sites? we have looked at Southbank but most of the hotels want to charge for breakfast and parking, for the kind of prices there asking you'd expect parking and breakfast to be included. We will be driving so can move around easily, happy to eat out for a full English breakfast if available : ) Thanks in advance : )
  11. Hi Captain C - Thanks for the info that's great : )
  12. Does anyone know if you get your visa granted faster if you apply after doing Skills select 189 EOI we've been invited to apply in Nov 15 my partner has 75 points, all docs uploaded 26/12/15 including Acro checks and Medicals just completed. Also if your visa is granted (I guess by email) can you fly out straight away and validate it? Thanks
  13. Hi thanks for this info, we looked on the Immi site and it says not to organise your medical if you've already submitted your paper work and to wait for a CO? Anyone know what's best? I know under the section of uploaded documents we have a ? where the medical should be, I'm assuming when you do have them this section is for the declaration form and the rest gets sent on from the place where your medical is done?
  14. Hi mgeaves, thanks for that we will look into it : )
  15. Not 100% about that form Ill let you know if I need it, I know they asked some information about my achievements etc, if I do need it I will PM you.
  16. Hi everyone thanks for posts that's really helpful, we've done the police ones and uploaded them most docs were already approved via EOI we had read that your not supposed to have medicals until they issue you with a number which is then included on the medical forms we also rang the medical practice and they said we needed this number to book our medicals. IELETS also completed and submitted this is for my partner shes has 75points for a 189.
  17. Hi Adele244, Skyba thanks for the posts that's great, we have done ours via the EOI then 4 weeks later were paid up and sent all the docs electronically that was 26/12/15 but still haven't heard anything do you get sent an email to say you have a CO? and is that the point you get your medicals done? sorry just a bit confused. Also whats a form 80? cheers
  18. Can anyone tell me how long it takes to get assigned a case officer, All paper work and police checks submitted for a 189 visa on 26/12/15 is it best to get our medicals done now or wait till we are contacted? Is there a min time for getting your paper work processed? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  19. No problem, glad your getting it sorted they should have there own stamp too : )
  20. http://www.staples.co.uk/custom-self-inking-printer-50-stamp/cbs/367989.html?promoCode=200200556&Effort_Code=WW&Find_Number=367989 This was cheaper than taking it to a solicitor as they wanted £10 per document for certification and we had about 60 documents so you stamp your own paper work then whoever signs is make the stamp up with there name, think it has to be someone like a supervisor or manager. The person then signed it so it was lie this.. Signed..by....... Signing Date... Certified True Copy of Orignal Address Postcode Telephone
  21. Most of ours were black and white, but my partner had them certified with a stamp and signed by someone in a supervisory role as we went through the EOI scheme first. They checked and approved our documents, you can buy those stamps we made ours up to say "Certified True Copy of The Original" Then Persons name, work address, telephone number, we got ours form staples think it was £30 hope this helps : )

    Sick Dog!!

I'm no vet but our cat was suffering a similar condition, and it was down to a pancreas condition where food is eaten but not broken down by enzymes so he never puts on any weight, we now have him on pancrex v which we add to his food and he is slowly getting better, albeit still a bit thin. This affects the hair and he's not getting enough nutrients to give him a nice coat. Not sure if this helps but thought I would mention it.
  24. [h=2]Hi Everyone, 189 visa submitted 26th December for myself and my wife, I'm tagging along as a very grateful husband lol Wife has 75 Points IELTS test result of 9.0 hopefully we are making the right decision, neither of us have been to Australia before so big risk, but following in the footsteps of previous family members who moved out here but returned to UK (which they say is the biggest mistake they ever made, now too old to come back) thinking either eastern Melbourne or Eastern Adaliade Hills, currently no children but looking to start a family before we get too old. Thanks KoalaPOM [/h]
