@DrNH Nobody can give the time frame when they will make a call to you again. We missed a call after 6 months of applying for the visa. The next call came after 4 months (i.e. After a total of 10 months of applying for the visa). The visa was granted in next couple of days after the call. You can assume that the next call will be made to you once they will be about to finalize the case. If you have applied by yourself, (without using a consultant), the best you can do is to ask some expert to review your documents (i.e. The documents which you have already uploaded or provided to immigration). They can call you anytime. Wish you all the best !!! Regards, Henry

@DrNH Just be patient. don't worry. They will call you back anytime. Missing a call is normal. It can happen to anyone. Be ready all the time in future to receive the phone call from them. That call will be for interview. In some scenarios like us, they give a call couple of days before granting the visa. You can call at Islamabad high commission and let them know that you have missed a phone call. Regards, Henry

Finally, they interviewed my wife today Date of Application (Online): 01/12/2016 Interview Date: 11/10/2017 The questions were linked to our future plans, birth place and date of our kid, our date of NIKAH and RUKHSATI. They also asked about my job details. The questions were also linked to where do we live and how I financially support her. Fingers Crossed Regards, Henry

@maffan @isha12 My wife also lodged an application on December 1st, 2016. We did not receive any telephonic interview, correspondence yet except an automated email for Biometrics. Medicals were done in the mid of December 2016. Unfortunately, a call was missed by us in first week of June 2017 ): I believe it was regarding telephonic interview. After that, inspite of couple of phone calls and emails by us to the department, still, we have not received any correspondence yet. Fingers crossed Regards, Henry

@Pancake123 When we checked the call history in mobile phone, the call was made from the phone number (051) 8355500. This phone number is of Australian High Commission Islamabad. Unfortunately, my wife was busy at that time and was unable to pick the phone call. Regards, Henry

my wife's application for visa 309 which was lodged in December 2016 is more interesting. She missed a phone call from Department (i.e. We know the phone number of Islamabad High Commission) in the first week of June 2017. In spite of several phone call and email reminders since then, we have NOT received any correspondence yet. (i.e. Apart from automatic medical request at the point of lodgement of application) Regards, Henry

@Abdullah you need to apply smart id card for your wife only. Yes you need to apply for her passport as well. you need to apply for family register certificate too. You do not need to update your id's, however, you MAY need to update same address residential details in all id documents for your wife and yourself. ==================================================== We missed phone call in the month of June from the Islamabad high commission. Attempted to contact them several time via phone and email. Luckily, today the phone call was answered by them. They asked for FILE NUMBER and APPLICATION ID over the phone. thanks for the comments. Hopefully, they will come back after one month and we will receive the call this time. One question comes into my mind is what happens if we miss the call another time ? Can they schedule the call via email? Obviously, we would like to pick the call straight away but just asking what there course of action is in such cases where applicant missed phone call in second attempt. Regards, Henry

Yesterday, unfortunately, my wife missed the phone call from high commission. (i.e. She was unable to pick the phone due to some personal reasons) After sometime (say an hour or so), when she checked her phone and realized there was a call from high commission (Assuming it was an interview call), she made a call to department immediately.The operator advised that the department will contact her soon. Just wondering if anyone has such experience before ? (Missed a phone call from high commission). If YES, how long does it take them to contact you again ??? Regards, Henry

I think that for some evidences (say "FAMILY COMPOSITION"), you need FRC (i.e. "certified copy of your family register or family tree). Regards, Henry

Hello to all, Applied online (i.e. "Paid the fee through bank card") from Australian High Commission Islamabad, Pakistan on December 1st, 2016. Collected all evidences and uploaded already. However, pressed the "Information Provided" button in immi account at the end of March 2017. Just wondering how long will it take them for interview at least ? Regards, Henry

With regards to evidences such as (wedding invitation card, wedding pictures, pictures at birthday parties, pictures at various public places such as shopping centers, restaurants etc. skype chats, email correspondence snapshots, facebook chat and posts snapshots) have been inserted into a word document and are uploaded in the category "Social Aspect of Relationship" With regards to evidences such as (Joint bank statement, letter from bank regarding joint bank account, overseas remittance receipt showing direct credit into joint bank account, statutory declaration from sponsor and applicant, snapshot of payment of visa fee from sponsor's Australian bank account) have been combined to make a pdf document and uploaded in category of "Financial Aspect of Relationship" I believe "mutual commitment" category requires some evidences of liability for both sponsor and applicant but not sure exactly what evidence will provide weight to the application. Hello to all, Can someone provide me information about types of evidences which can be uploaded in online immi account for a 309 application for the following two categories: 1) mutual commitment of the couple 2) Nature of household. Just to let you know that we are living in a joint family system. Therefore, the bills and house is in the name of head of the family. As all of you have already lodged 309 application, Please advise what types of evidence you guys uploaded for the above two categories. Regards, Henry

For a 309 application (online), we are unable to find answers/provide documents for the following: 1) Visa status in country of residence, Evidence of Provide evidence of your visa or residence status in your country of residence, including your right to return. (Does a certified copy of passport is sufficient enough?) 2) Nature of the couple's household, Evidence of We are living in a joint family system and we are not receiving any bills on our name. 3) Health, Evidence of You are required to provide additional information as part of the health assessment process for your visa application. When click on "Attach" link to view what sort of documents should be uploaded, the following appears Form 815 Health Undertaking Health waiver submission/supporting documentation Letter/Statement Doctor Letter/Statement Hospital Others (specify) If you could please answer what evidences need to be uploaded for the above 3 points, it would be great. Hello to all, My wife and daughter fulfilled a request of personal identifiers (Biometrics) for a 309 partner application couple of months ago. Since my wife applied for a visit visa, a request for personal identifiers (Biometrics) was sent to her email address. The question is if the proof of previously performed personal identifiers (Biometrics) can be uploaded in the online account to fulfil the request? OR A new personal identifiers (Biometrics) is essential for each/separate visa application/category ? Regards, Henry

Could you please also provide some feedback about the screen which asks for travelling companion as below: "Travelling companions Are there any other persons travelling with the applicant to Australia?"
