We had a request for Police checks and form 80 on 1/10/15. All uploaded by the 10/10/15. Then no action until yesterday morning when it said Finalised on the status. I opened up the application and found 4 grant letters!

Hi, I thought I'd let you know about my journey as I'm a gas engineer. I decided to apply back in January for a skilled independent 189 visa. I went with Go Matilda. We discussed the application process and decided that the easier option would be to apply as a plumber. The gas is very different in Australia. The plumbing Vetasses was simple and the practical tool me around 2 hours to complete! I also did the Ielts test and got around 8.5 which gave me 60 points with my work experience and age. To cut a long story short, we received our grant this morning! So myself my wife and our two daughters are moving out on February the 1st. I would certainly recommend using Go Matilda. They were very helpful and made it as stress free as it can be. Best of luck with it all!

Hi, We are with Go Matilda too. We received an email the next working day around 10.30am. We have now submitted our application and had contact from our CO. Submitted medicals, police checks and Form 80 around a month ago so hopefully have a grant anytime soon! The wait is agony!!

I feel your pain Jon! We have been waiting around 20 days now since we submitted requested form 80, and police checks. It's been a long journey and we're nearly there! i have never checked my email so regularly! hope the wait isn't too long! ?

Hi Guys. We applied on the 12/8/15. We were assigned a CO requesting medicals and form 80 on 29/10/15. We have now completed and uploaded all paperwork so its time to sit back and wait! Hopefully the wait won't be too long!!
