Processing of this person's visa application can now continue. This will not occur until a case officer investigates the case in line with published processing times for the visa that has been applied for. Do not contact the department about health examinations in the meantime.

Thanks buddy. The uploading of documents got over in my case in Jan this year. Still waiting. I had got a call from Delhi High Commissioner in June, if I remember, following which I haven't heard, except those usual reply which many have posted in this forum thread. But yes, I have seen people waiting close to a year. I just wish I get my grant before the Police Clearance Certificate, which is valid for a year in my case. I wish you good luck as well.

Hello All, Sorry have been away from the forum for quite a while. Glad to know Luke and Garry have got their grant. At least I am happy the scores and moving up on the board. I am still waiting for that lucky day. I had lodged visa in Dec,2015 with 60 points and still waiting. May be my points are too low to catch any eyes of any CO. :mad::mad:

Great guys I am happy to see some changes finally. Some of our mates Garrya and Luke finally got their grant. I am still waiting and I had applied in Decemeber 2015 with 60 points. God knows if they will ever grant. May be 60 is too low a score a take notice of for the CO.:confused:

@hussainrizvi I lodged my application on Dec 2, 2015 and for SOL code 263111 - Computer Network and System Engineer. This SOL is still not in pro-rata basis like Software Engineer and Accountants.

I am getting a feeling, that they are granting on the basis of how many days are left for the expiry of PCC and Medical, if the score is not high. :smile:

@lukescoty No friend no communication from them. Only in june this year I had got a call for verification of my Job, roles and responsibilities from Australian Embassy in India. That's it. Nothing after that.

@lukescotty - Hello !! No they haven't asked me anything since then. And I have everything uploaded. From form 80 , payslips, tax, PCC, medical, education, work related docs everything. Nothing was asked after that. My status shows "Assessment in Progress". I have mailed them twice asking if anything is needed from my end. They always say, no more document is needed, but the assessment is in progress and they can't confirm by when they can grant visa.

@Mechpriest Buddy did you get your visa grant yet ?

@sageGNT Hmm may be different nations have different security check process. Hopefully, you get your security clearance soon. I am not sure how long does security check takes. I wish you get your visa soon.

@sageGNT . Buddy electrical is in good demand from what I have seen in job posts in various web sites. Don't know why they are taking so long. Try to reach out via e-mail or call whichever is feasible for you. Besides I think Electrical Engineeri SOL is accessed by Engineers Australia who have comparatively more upper cap compared to SOL which fall under the assessment of ACT(Australian Computer Society).

Ya friend I can understand. 15 is really a long long time of wait. I had mailed them twice in last 3 months, but all to vain. I always get back some stereotype templated reply. So, I stopped writing mails to them.

Hi Bobbie2016, No I have got my invite in Nov 2015 and lodged my visa in Dec 2nd, 2015. CO from Adelaide contacted me for documents on Dec 16, 2016. I got all the documents submitted by Jan 12 2016. Following which there was no response from the DIBP, except once in June, 2016 for Job Verification from my local country Embassy. Then again there is no moves. I have applied as Computer and Network System Engineer. Thanks, Sulav

Hello Everyone, Great to see so many applicants here. I had lodged my application back in Dec, 2nd 2015. I am still waiting for the grant. Its more than 8 months. Is there anyone here, who has been waiting this long? Another problem is I have just 60 points, so that's even a problem I wonder. Kindly post your suggestions, if any. Thanks, Sulav

Hi Saacor, Congrats buddy !! . I have been waiting for 8 months and a week now. Haven't received my Grant. May be because I have just 60 points. God knows when that fortunate day will come when I will get my grant. Don't they give like 11 months time from the time of Grant to the time of entry? Atleast, that's what I had known. So, you got the grant now and they gave you less than 2 months to enter Australia for Stamping ? Thanks, Sulav

Thanks for the reply Captain. No, I haven't got my invite yet. Probably, I wont be getting it in this 9th October round. I am thinking to give a PTE test and try to improve my score. In IELTS I could just score 7.5. I am wondering what would be the cut off date this time for 60 pointers. Last time it was 27th July,2015. Kindly suggest from your speculations, if I can get invitation by November 1st round. My skill assessment from ACS is expiring in Nov, 2015. I had received it on 13th Nov,2013. The letter said the assessment will be valid for 24 months from 13th Nov 2013. I am wondering will it be valid on 13th Nov 2015. If not, I will have to send documents again for re-assessment. God knows how much time will it take this time. I haven't changed companies though in last 3 years, so there is no change in roles or responsibility to declare.

Hi Everyone, I had applied my EOI for 189 visa subclass on 31st July,2015 for Computer network professional, which happens to be a non-pro rata basis occupation. Its code is 263111. The last cut off date for 60 pointers was 27th July,2015 9:22 AM Canberra time. Can someone please share if anyone following this date has got invite with 60 points? Thanks..
