Finally, We (Me & My wife) received invitation letters over email on 12th April 2017.

see my timelines below:

Application dates : 20 Dec 2016
State/Council : Melbourne / Boroondara Council
Test Date received : 6 Jan 2017
Test Date : 1 Feb 2017
Approval letter : Received on 8th Feb (In the letter it was approved on 2nd Feb)
Ceremony Letter : 12th April 2017 (Over email haven't received hard copy yet)
Ceremony Date : 18th May 2017

8. Date of ceremony: 21/03/2017 (Received email from the council yesterday)

Great, Congrats mate.

My nomination has been refused last week because of financial situation of the company,

 

in a word, they don't think a small company with such little income has the right reason to

 

hire a person from oversea.

 

It's sad to get a result like this after more than a year's waiting, but it comes eventually.

It's not over at all... there were too many ways to get PR....

you will get jobs in countryside on 187 visa based on ur experience for sure to restart ur careers

But coz mine frst pcc expired then I upload new one so two pcc in file now the latest pcc if of last month so is it fine to upload a third pcc also now again.

yes, you can upload ur third one too...

I did my aus pcc on given name so do I need to do again with frst nd last name or do I need to wait for my file to open.

In my opinion, better to keep ready and upload it as soon as u received this will save ur waiting time rather than waiting for co request as this will add more waiting time incase co requested.

I did the same thing, I re-applied PCC and AFC just before expired (12 months old).

Don't worry Mate you will get it soon. infact for Melbourne ppl luckiest than other states because we got an opportunity to change test date by our own (online) instead of calling immi.

Regarding my ceremony date, I don't thing I'll get a place in March I'm expecting on May or June. see below

Extra doc requested for Nomination on Dec 2016 (don't know exactly what was requested)

Finalized on 1st Feb

They just emailed me with a test appointment on 2nd June, will start pestering them for a sooner one!!!!

Online application would tel you if you are eligible or not mid way and won't let you apply if residence requirement not met. No point waiting for a day. It won't let you apply if not eligible.

did u apply on same date when u r eligable or littlebit delay? My 3 passports are going to expire in july and sep.so don't want to spend money for renewal it. So is thia fine if i applied same date when eligable..

I applied after a month. but better to wait atleast a day to be safer side.

have you received the approval letter or just found out by calling them?

 

also, do you know if the test date could be changed a couple of times or you can only change it once? Im planning on changing my date as soon as I receive the email to the earliest possible and keep checking afterwards if there is any date available earlier than that at a later stage.

They mailed me my approval letter, i never called immi for anything.

You can change ur test date as many time as you can.

In Melbourne there were plenty of dates available in May onwards.

Please note: only Melbourne applicant can able to check online test dates.

My Application has been approved on 8th Feb 2017.

Now waiting for ceremony invitation letter.

Yes, you can create two or more application in ur immi account

one question more. VFS issue birthcertificate as per passport. So can we attach my passport's 1st page? Because its still valid.

Great, me too in Melbourne

Please note: we have to attach/submit passport copy in any case.

And I guess birthcertificate is also mandatory, if you don't have then you have to submit relevant documents except passport such as school leaving certifactes etc... but better to have consulate birth certificate which is available and straight forward process otherwise you have to explain immi officer with proper reason while test interview

Yes, of course you can

q2.we are family of 4 (me,my wife & 2 kids) so how we apply all together?

Ans:

you need to create 2 application for you and ur wife and add ur kids either in ur application or ur wife or both in each child

q3. me and my wife don't have birth certificate but kids have. so can i supply Marriage certificate or Indian National Identification

card (Aadhar Card) its showing birth date

Ans:

if you don't have ur birth certificates then apply to Consulate general of India "http://www.vfsglobal.com/india/australia/" they will issue ur birth certificate based on ur passport but make sure whenever u have test interview you have to bring other documents too such as leaving certificates where ur name and date of birth mentioned and furthermore if you have Indian driving licence and Adhar card, marriage certificates etc...

q4. and whats the other supporting documents we required. is any body have documents list?

Ans:

Indian driving licence and adharcard is sufficient as an additional identity documents.

Congrats shriniwas. Hopefully you'll get the 25 mar ceremony. I applied on the 29th Jan. Same councils as you. Haven't heard anything yet. Does the online application page get updated or anything before the test email? Mine just says application received

you will get invitation email within 3-4 weeks if you lucky you will get anytime within a week but not more than 4 weeks for sure.

and best things in melbourne that you can change/reschedule ur test date by online instead calling immi.

re. online application page it never change until we attend council ceremony.

while attending test interview make sure you bring all the original document even u haven't uploaded such as marriage certificates and ur origin county driving license etc... he may ask anything while interview.

I cleared my test with 100% withing 5 min

Hello Below is my timeline from Melbourne - Wyndham City council. Haven't received a date yet for the exam. Is there anyone who have applied around the same time and received the test invite ? Also would like to know, this is only for Melbourne right now I think , to re-schedule exams a new portal has been created, no more need to call DIBP to check for free slots. https://appointments.border.gov.au/ The website mentions that you need the ClientID to login. They say "The client ID is an eleven digit number that was assigned to you when you lodged your citizenship application. Your client ID would have been included in any correspondence you would have received from the department regarding your citizenship application." I am unable to locate the Client ID . Anybody know where to look for this one .

you will get ur client id on test invite email however you can still fing ur client id in your PR grant application.

But I guess u can't book/re-schedule ur test until you get email invites for test date.

Not sure about the queue however in 2017 they scheduled the ceremony dates. See below
