  1. Finally the day has arrived after 189 days of visa application submission. Just received the confirmation letter from MA for PR grant. All details in my signature and in the excel sheet, processing center WA PESE. No documents requested, just requirement to pay secondary VAC2. Whoever has the access, kindly update the excel sheet

Just would like to thank all the supportive people on this forum, you guys were great motivation. I tried my best to be patient and calm, but honestly got bit worried couple of weeks ago, for no good reason actually. I arrived in Oz in Dec'12 and absolutely loved the place and people, needless to say I am proud to call it home now. I look forward to next phase of my life in Oz

Good luck to all who are waiting for any news, just be patient and good things will come. Let me know if you have any questions, I'll be hovering around

congrats Fireblade and all who get PR today.. best of luck for your future...

  3. i just found this on web updated on 27th jan

    Processing times for

    Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS)

permanent visas has increased to 6 months on average.

We do, however, continue to experience some inconsistency with processing times in this ar

    ea.

We will continue to work with our clients to understand their priorities, and will do what we can to request priority

    processing when required.

    We hope that

in February processing times will start to improve as immigration officers

    return to work after

    the summer holiday break.

Below is a summary of current processing times as of

    January 2016

    :

    Visa type

    Visa processing time

    Subclass 457 8 to 12 weeks

Employer Nomination Scheme 6 to 8 months

    Good

    which website?

  4. Hello! I would like to ask what type of EA assessment is needed for this visa 186? Is it the 920 aud CDR + relevant skilled employment assessment? (I'm not claiming for points since I won't be able to reach 60pts anymore). Thanks!

hi this is not point based visa.. this visa for if your employer ready to sponsor you.. check department's website for Employer Nomination Visa 186.

  5. Congrats!!!

    PR rain is falling.~~~

  6. I did a survey on immi 's website today. It was about their website so i did mention if they could add real time tracking of the visa applicaitons and clear updates on their websites about being high on workload and slow pace etc etc. I would suggest you guys to do the same. You can stay anonymous however i gave my details and they also offer face to face discussion if someone has ideas for them.

I had a word with my lawyer and i was told i can expect to hear something in feb as the immi is really low on staff since start of December and 457 applications are also very slow. Tommorow alot of people are back to work not just in immi but also as other offices so it all does makes a difference. ( many things are interconnected) if you know what I mean.
