  1. We are moving to Perth in December and will be shipping our stuff out in a 20ft container. We are self packing as we have a friend who is in the freight business who has given us a great price for the shipping. My question is how detailed does the inventory need to be? Doe we need to list every item of clothing in each box? Or is it just a case of giving an overview of each box. I had planned to list each item, print it off and stick a copy to the box, but not sure if its needed? Also, I have several bottles of Gin which I was hoping to bring (won't get to drink it all before I go, especially now it soooooo cold!!). Anyone know if this will be ok, its the only 'food' item which I will be bringing. I was looking forward to a nice G&T in the Perth summer!! TIA!
  2. I have a fairly large collection of spirits (Gin etc). Anyone know if this will be ok to get through in my container? TIA!
  3. Transferwise are the best rates I have found so far.
  4. Just get em from the Aussie section on Ocado! [emoji6]
  5. I completed it and uploaded it up front just in case. Figured the case officer could just disregard it if they weren't interested.
  6. Email... You get an email for each person listed on the application.
  7. Off to Perth in January! 1 GP, 1 midwife and a baby! Anyone else coming to Perth? (North of the river!)
  8. Thanks not sure why? Never got the delay email. The only thing I can think is that the numbers for midwives is only on 33 out of 1000 for this year?
  9. If they've asked for a 4-year olds form 80 then give them a 4-year olds form 80!
  10. Or just do what they say and complete the form80, surely it will only take 30 mins or so for a 4 year old?!?
  11. Ooo how exciting, lots of my documents have just changed from 'recommended' to 'not required'. Hopefully that means someone is reviewing it and will hear soon!!
  12. Does anyone know if your 'status' in the Immiaccount page changes once a CO has been allocated??
  13. But does depend where you have it, what bloods are needed etc. mine said medicals pending once they had been done but results were awaited.
  14. Takes 4 or 5 working days for medicals to be uploaded. Be patient!
  15. Do it yourself. It's easy and there are enough costs involved without adding agents fees! Ask here if you get stuck with anything and you will be fine!
  16. So how come someone who applied on the 20th has been allocated and we are still waiting? [emoji19]
  17. Make sure you pressure the fact that you will have a 189 as this will avoid them sponsoring someone on a 457. It's a lot less paperwork for them. You will be worth waiting for with a 189.
  18. No way of jumping the queue apparently. Only other option would be to go for a 457 whilst waiting for the 189.
  19. We applied on 17th April - fingers crossed something will come through soon!
