So we're under Direct entry, but they have only asked for Australian qualifications. Shame their letter doesn't come with the reason they need this, because still completing PhD, so hoping that's not what they're looking for

What's the occupation your employer sponsored you for?

For some occupations, you are requested to have Australian License before doing the work.

If it is required and you cannot provide it to Immi office, then you might have trouble...

ENS has three streams

1.Temporary Resident Transition

2. Direct Entry

3. Labour Agreement

skill assessment is not a requirement for visa 186 why would they ask for skill exempt paperwork.

Skill assessment is required if the applicant applied through Direct Entry Stream...

Just got the approval letter from HR.

It was nsw.pse.

Also one thing I noticed, you will get an email from border when the status of your application changes, so you will know to check it out

I didn't got any email from border yesterday when the status changed to finalised. I believed I have set up notification to my email inbox when application status changes.

They have just started applications submitted in April...

Why didn't you submit your visa application together with your Nom? I submitted my visa app a lot later and it looks like I'm back in the queue.

I was worrying about if the nomination was done correctly as I didn't use a MA. Didn't want to waste any money.

But I regret a bit now thinking of another 3-6 months waiting...
