We have the same dilemma Ramot and similar circumstances.I would also like to know if we apply for 468 do we wait on bridging visa or existing 410 unto a permanent visa is granted

New to this site but just moved to Queensland on 410 temp. Visa and seeking advice re.our plan to apply for a permanent parent visa .Has anyone done this and is it beneficial. We are getting conflicting advice and not sure if cost of 864 would outweigh private medical insurance at our age ,mid seventies. If we apply at what stage do we relinquish the 410,it expires in 2020. .
