Hi guys Me and my boyfriend would like to move to Australia. My boyfriend is a construction project manager and I work in HR and have a masters degree in HR and business. He’s 30 and I’m 33. We are looking at options for visas we can apply for. I’ve seen the 491 visa for regional areas has HR on their list. But my boyfriends occupation is on the skilled list. We are getting married soon so just wondering who’s got the best chance of success- my boyfriend with his trade, he also has level 6 project management and 10 years experience in his role. I only have 2.5 years in HR. Would it be better for me to apply as a spouse on my husbands skilled visa or apply for a 491 with my HR qualifications? Has anyone applied on the 491? I’ve only just started looking so any advice would be appreciated and helpful :)

I Was working as a manager on a pretty decent wage so I thought I would get quite a bit back. Also all of my employers have paid into it so I guess I just won't get as much as I thought

I have recently moved back to the UK after completing a working holiday visa. I would now like to claim my super back. According to my payslips I should have about 6000 dollars but only have a balance of 1500 on my ATO super account. One of my friends told me it's because alot of it is invested so you can't actually Claim the full amount. Is this true? Can someone who has received their super after leaving Australia please help me out?

I am just about to submit my evidence after a request for further info, every thing I did was legitimate but I made a mistake on my original form I put I started on the 2nd when I started on the 4th. Also my original employer has since sold his business and I can't get hold of him. However there is another manager who was there and has provided me with a reference and rosters for the entire 3 month period. I have attached a 1023 form which is when you accidentally put incorrect information on your first application. Should I be worried? I have done every I need to do but I'm just worried as I made a mistake and the previous owner is no longer available?!

Is it true if you work full time during regional your days off count as days? Alot of people have said it but I can't find anything on the immigration website to confirm it???

Yes I have a reference off my employer also. Shall I tell them when I send the evidence that I travelled alot once i completed my days work imcase they are wondering why I'm.using my card else where where? Thanks everyone!

That's what I was thinking I'm Just scared as It was very regular and I was able to move around alot as I was usually finished by midday

Yes it was regular I often left and visited Perth and other places as I only worked 6-12 in the morning although I never went more then 4 hours away from where I completed my work

I have just completed 3 months regional work which was vvoluntary. I have been asked to provide further evidence, a bank statement and a confirmation from my employer. I have the employer confirmation but I was using my card in a place a few hours away on the same days I was working which makes it look like I wasnt working but in the other place when in actual fact I just drove to and from while still completing my work But I am very scared they will look at my statement and assume I wasn't working as I was using my card in a place hours away. What should I do? Should I explain when I provide the evidence that I was using my card else where while I wasn't working, I am really afraid of how this looks Would appreciate some helpful advice thanks Vicky
