Not true, they will give u an online logbook to fill in. You can back date it a year as long as you have a licensed electrician to sign it off for you. this can be done within a week

Do trade recognition in U.K. Come to Sydney and get a job (easy) transfer trade recognition to Provisional license and do the '3 week full time (intensive) Electrical gap training' . Obtain NSW Electrical license and transfer it to Vic license when u move to Melbourne. This '3 week gap training in Sydney is reasonably new, I was in the first ever class 8 months ago and it's still running as I have a friend who is currently finishing his gap training the same way. The 3 week full time course replaces the 6month 2 evenings a week course.

Hello you helpful people... Im booked in for my ostr in Brisbane in a few weeks and need help with the theory side. Ive forgotten half of what I leant at college '9 years ago' and left all my books and notes back in the UK 3 years ago! Can any body help with what comes up in the test and where I can brush up on the the relevent electrical areas. I really cant afford to fail as I live in sydney ?. Its a little stressful thanks guys
