  1. Yes, I meet the minimum requirements and that is why I am not discussing this right now. My questions are on a completely different aspect of the topic.
  2. Of course I can prove that I am a physicist. I have a bachelors degree. Lack of proof refers to my working experience. But if I vetassess accept part time work, and I can work as a tutor while being on a student visa, I think that solves my problem.
  3. Yes, I am a Physicist and was teaching for 9 years but dont have the necessary documents to prove it. My question is if Vetassess accept one year of PART TIME employment.
  4. My problem is that I dont have enough proof for my years of working experience, so I cannot obtain an assessment from vetassess. I was also thinking of going to Australia on a student visa, then open the tutoring company for a year just to gain the necessary experience, and then apply for the 190 ( i meet all the other requirements). But, as a student I will be able to work only 20 hours a week. do you know if vetasses require full time work only? Will I be able to claim one year of experience if working part time?
  5. In vetassess site it is stated that : You have at least one year of employment experience obtained in the last five years which is highly relevant to your nominated occupation (Evidence of your employment experience is not required for 485 visa purpose). It is not mentioned if this work should be full time or part time. Does one year of part time job count?
  6. Apart from the factors that you mentioned, do I have to earn at least 52000 dollars, as it is required for self sponsoring in general?
  7. Why do you think it is difficult? Can you please explain?
  8. Tutoring is on the CSOL list as Private tutors. how can my business be qualified to sponsor individuals for 457? What if I am the only employee?
  9. While I am exploring all the possible pathways for migrating to Australia I was told that it is possible to come to the country on a student visa and then start a new company( i am thinking of a private tutoring company). After a year, I can apply for the 457 visa. Can anyone tell me if this is feasible?
  10. Do you think I can nominate another relevant occupation, assessed by a different authority which is not that strict with the ' experience' part?
  11. So you mean, if I do the professional year, then this will count as the experience I need?
  12. I have a Bachelor s degree in Physics but no working experience to demonstrate. I have read that if you dont have working experience you can do a professional year in australia and then apply for your degree's assessment. Is such thing right?
  13. Can you, please, explain what do you mean? Where else can I assess my physics degree for migration purposes?
  14. I am posting here, so as not to open a new thread. I have seen in VETASSESS' website that you need at least one year of relevant employment to assess your degree. what if you do not have any employment to demonstrate? Isn't it possible to assess your degree?
  15. I already gather 60 points without the SS. The problem is that States ask for working experience as well, and I don t have any to demonstrate.
  16. Thank you for the immediate responses! My occupation is on the CSOL but I read that if an occupation is not on SOL but only in CSOL , you need to be sponsored
  17. Hi! I m new to the forum and I have some questions about the 190 visa. I am a physicist but this occupation is not included in SOL. However, I have the 60 points that are required. Is it obligatory to nominate an occupation from the list?
