    Hi Guys , I want to get my assessment by vetassess body for ANZSCO 222112 (Finance Broker). I came across one of their requirement from http://www.vetassess.com.au/Skills-Assessment-for-Migration/General-Occupations/Application-Process which is as follows. [h=1]Eligibility[/h]You're eligible to apply for a Skills Assessment of your General Professional Occupation if : You have at least one year of employment experience obtained in the last five years which is highly relevant to your nominated occupation (Evidence of your employment experience is not required for 485 visa purpose). My question is one year experience should be within last 5 years ? I have 24 years of experience out of which first 15 years are as Finance broker while remaining 9 years is not as a Finance broker.In this case do i qualify their above employment experience requirement?     Hi Alls, I have been here in Victoria on PR for last one year , my family (wife and a son) here with me as well on PR , recently i am blessed by a baby girl here in Victoria , i am after to sponsor to my sister's husband who has got skill in ACT state not in Victoria. For family sponsored visa main applicant need to get sponsored by those state family members where the applicant has got its occupation in that the same state or it can differ from the state?Does it matter if i sponsor to my sister husband if he does not have category in Victoria but exist in ACT? Regards.

    I would suggest you contact to some MARA agent , i have the more or less same confusion but after contacting to one of MARA agent now i am in much better position and tomorrow my agent is going to apply for SS visa 176. Recent work experience may be satisfied by working for a minimum of 20 hours per week,either as a permanent or casual employee, for full time or part-time work, as long as it is forremuneration. In other words, volunteer work is not counted. Your recent work experience need not be the same nor related your nominated occupation for the purpose of satisfying the requirement stated above. However, both your nominated occupation and your recent work experience must be in an occupation listed in the SOL. Except in certain cases, you are normally not asked to provide additional skills assessment inrelation to your “recent work experience” occupation provided your work experience was at the skilled level.

    Dear All, Once again i am going to dump from my case please share some thoughts , 1st July is on hand. I have got sponsorship from victoria for the "Developer Programmer" and as well got recently the +ve ACS for the "Developer Programmer", ACS considered my expereience for Developer Programmer as follows. They have not considered my JD's which i provided on stamped paper signed by my immediate boss for the organization "Memon Medical Institute" as "Developer Programmer" , Though my title was there Database Administrator but being an experienced IT member (4 years 9 months "Analyst Programmer" in GAC Shipping , 10 months as Software Developer in Plexus) they have bestowed me as well software development. On the basis of this Memon Medical Institute JD's/experience i have been recently appointed in Parazelsus as "Assistant Manager Development" , how come Parazelsus hire me as "Assistant Manager Development" on the basis of DBA title , i was constantly in touch full time with development in MMI and developed various modules , on the behalf of Memon Medical Institute development expertise Parazelsus hired me as "Assistant Manager Development". Due to this i am not fullfilling DIAC requirment for the visa lodgmenet eligibilty "Recent work experience requirement" To meet the recent work experience requirement, you must demonstrate that you have been employed: •for at least 12 of the 24 months immediately before lodging your visa application. You must demonstrate means the employment have to be in your NOMINATED occupation? Who justify whether your recent work experience is in an occupation on the SOL if yours title/designation is not in SOL but your JD's are under diffrent title? And what criteria are applied to determine this?Does ACS's evaluation required by DIAC for "recent work experience criteria" or company letter head would be suffice regardless ACS count yours current experience related to nominated ANZSCO code or not. Could i apply for visa with this ACS letter to fullfill current work experience requirment or i need to demonstrate the employment reference or stamped letter.Please help me i am running out of time , 1st Jul is just at hand.

    ACS - negative assessment

    ACS assessed you for Group B, i believe that an ACS accessor evaluated yours qualification against for the PIM's group B if you showed up -Diploma or Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Advanced Diploma with a major in ICT. or -An Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Bachelor (undergraduate) degree, or Graduate Diploma, or higher qualification with a minor (sub-major) in ICT in a highly relevant field to the nominated occupation. You fullfilled the qualifiation for Group B, what ICT related qualification had you put for yours case? I think 6 years would not be purely for the occupation BA.They counted you for 4 years against the requirment of 5 years.Did you have 5 years of full time expereine for yours nominated occupation (BA)?If you fullfill one more year which comes to 5 from 4 then they assessed you for Group B altogther. I would suggest to read Group B thoroughly where it is requirment for group B is 5 years of full time professional ICT work experience in a field closely related to the nominated occupation (In Yours Case BA), completed in the ten (10) years before the date of application for Skills Assessment. Prove yours appeal with one year more to make it 5 from 4 to get Group B successfully. If you showed MCS degree which solidfy to fullfill Group A then 2 years requirment in case of Group A.Here is link for Pasa Guide line which i understand for Group A and B number of experiences. For Group A (if you have AQF equivlent Bachelor (undergraduate) degree or Graduate Diploma or higher degree level qualification with a major in ICT in a highly relevant field to the nominated occupation) they require 2 years.     clear my ANZSCO confusion

    As my ASCO code - 2231-79 (Oracle specialist) doesn't exist on DIAC's new SOL, I want to get my case reassessed (paid) for equivalent ANZSCO code. I have a bit confusion please clarify me that confusion , before paying the fee i want to make sure that it would not be invain again as before i have already wasted lot of money for OZ immigration. I am with 9 years of experience in an "occupation" with different path within IT professional capacity i.e. First 5 years Analyst Programmer then 1 year Software Developer then 1 year Oracle Database Administrator then Since last 2 year Designation is Database Administrator but performing as well Business Analyst I read the "tasks" and skill levels for this unit group 261111 "Business Analyst" and believe myself that this is one which I am. For last two years , I have served my employers by performing tasks and assignments that match beautifully with the ANZSCO 261111 description unit group. But my current employer has bestowed upon me dual responsibilities (Database Administrator & Business Analyst) across my current employment for last 2 years under the assigned title “Database Administrator”. For example, my job-title/designation is "Database Administrator” but being an experienced member of IT Technical Staff (due to my job profile and responsibilities with previous employer as an Analyst Programmer 5 years and Software Developer 1 year as well having Post Graduate Diploma and Master in Computer Science ) they have assigned me also as full time “ICT Business Analyst” role across my current employment. While filling ACS online assessment to select the current occupation pertinent to my current employment designation that I enter "Database Administrator" my employment “Designations Title” unsuitable for ANZSCO code 261111 “Business Analyst” but my additional responsibilities are suitable altogether for ANZSCO code 261111 “Business Analyst”. Now, the main question is ... can I claim for the ANZSCO code 261111 Business Analyst which is a bit close to my current employment title “Database Administrator” but more closest to my responsibilities which I have been performing with my current employment for last two years as a Business Analyst will ACS accept this ? Secondly if i apply as a Business Analyst then dont you think it would be like a question mark in accessor that with my previous assesment for ASCO code 2231-79 (Oracle Specialist) i mentioned more responisbilities for DBA and a little bit for Busniess Analyst , now this time sudden i come to prominent as a Business Analyst.At that time for ASCO code i understand better not to show both respnsibilites to avoid confusion, i made prominent myself as a database administrator but a bit Business analyst , i showed 10 responsibilites for DBA but only two related to Business analyst within affidavit.Would it be a big question mark to accessor if i go with 261111 more prominent this time? Please shares yours valuable thought, i will remeber you all in my pray for good thoguhts. :confused:

    Experience-Period For ACS

    is there any difference between DIAC and ACS experience criteria?Please share me.As i recently read from DIAC website for specific work experience. http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/general-skilled-migration/175/eligibility-specific-experience.htm that you have been employed in your nominated occupation, or a closely related occupation listed on the SOL, for at least three (3) of the four (4) years before the day of your application. I believe that DIAC would need 3 years of nominated SOL skills experience within last 4 years aint? Please share me gurus.

    Experience-Period For ACS

    I am pasting a paragraph from Pre-Applicaion Skills Assessment (PASA) Guidelines for Applicants http://www.acs.org.au/assessment/docs/PASAGuidelinesforApplicants.doc from page 20. Following are the excerpt from above paragraph.. at least two (2) years of full time professional ICT work experience in a field closely related to the nominated occupation, completed in the seven (7) years before the date of application for Skills Assessment. I beleive that above underline excerpt from PASA guidleline state that If an applicant has two years related SOL ANZSCO code within last seven years from the application date can get +ve assessment for that claimed ANZSCO code regardless after 2 years he has or has not experience for that claimed ANZSCO code. i was analyst programmer from Feb 2002-Nov 2006 and Software Developer from Dec 2006-Oct 2007 my responsibiliites during these period matches to ANZSCO 261311 Analyst Programmer, after that i was DBA which is not in new SOL schedule 3,from above understanding can i claim ANZSCO 261311 Analyst Programmer which is within last seven years of experience forthe period from 2004-2006? Please clarify me i have already lost AU$ 600 for Modl 2231-79 ..
