Good morning everyone, Just a tentative inquiry for some advice if anyone can help. My boyfriend and I are in Australia and are looking at applying for PR, however we would like to complete the application ourselves. He is on a 457 sponsorship visa and has been with the same employer for 2 years, i am De Facto on his visa. We are looking at applying for a Visa subclass 186 (Employer Nomination Scheme) Temporary Resident Transition Scheme. Is there anywhere you can get a full list of exactly what you need to send off? I have been reading through the immi website and so far i can see we need My partners employer needs to complete a form, lodge and be accepted before we can complete our application - however i can not seem to find this to print off for them? To complete the online application form via immi gov account Form 80 for myself and my partner Police Checks for the 2 of us from the UK Police checks for the 2 of us from Aus Medical Checks for the 2 of us Any help or advice from anyone who has completed this process would be great :-) Thanks Claire

Thanks for the feedback everyone, sent a few emails off to get quotes, with regards to my partners company I will ask ASAP, I'm 99% sure they will be fine with this, does anyone know if they will have to pay anything for me to be added or will they just need to give their permission in writing? Thanks

Hi everyone!! Just at a small question I'm hoping someone can help with, iv tried looking on the internet however struggling to get a straight answer. Im in looking to have a box sent over, it will just be a small amount of personal items, no where near enough to fill a move cube, I think it will all go into a box 1m x 1m, does anyone know roughly how much this will cost to be sent from the uk to melbourne and which company would be best to look at for shipping? thanks in advance for any help claire

Hi everyone I was hoping someone would be able to help advise me on a few things i'm unsure of? I came to Australia last September on a working holiday visa and my partner came here in December on a 457 visa. We have been together since January and in May we started to rent a flat together, In September i will be going to New Zealand so i can come back on a 6 month holiday visa. My question is how soon would i be able to go under his 457 visa? Also does anyone know the process that you have to go through for us to do this? Any help or advice would be much appreciated as i'm really unsure where to start :err:
