I applied June 2015. I’ve done my medical (December) and my son has done the paperwork for the AoS, again in December, but still heard nothing.
Don't worry dear. We have applied for aos on 22 August 2018 and waiting.

First you have to pay almost 50 grand per person to govt. and then wait for almost 4 to 5 years for visa grant and then reach there without any benefit. Wow that's amazing!!!!

It's 24 weeks now since aos lodgement. Still waiting for call. So you can get idea

Mostly 6 to 8 weeks. But now it's even more than this. You will get email from PVC team regarding 2nd vac. Thanks

Did anyone recently apply to 143 holding 173? It's time for my in-laws to move to 143 but I am struggling with new homeaffairs website. Can anyone share some experience?
Just fill the form for each applicant 47pt and send it to the PVC Perth with required fee.

Centrelink said I would hear something by today regarding the AOS being sumitted. Still haven’t heard anything
Dear when did you apply for AOS?
-
Dear I think that's the month up to which immigration is requesting further documents. After this, there is 6 month approx. For aos bond and after that atleast 6 to 8 weeks or may be more for 2 vac request.
-
For 173 to 143 it's 16 months now. Still nothing. Centrelink is taking too much time. It's 23 weeks now.
-
Sorry dear same as earlier . Don't what's going on with immigration.

Sorry if these has been asked before. We are converting from 173 to 143 and have been asked to apply for AOS.
Question: is the date of visa application our original 173 date or date we applied for the 143 conversion the date we use as our visa application date for AOS purposes?
Reason being our son was a child when we applied for 173 but an adult when we applied for the 143 so if original date then AOS application is only for 2 but if the later date of our conversion 143 application then it’s 3 adults.
Question: If its 3 adults do we need a separate AOS application from another assurer?
Question: If so does that mean we have to pay $14k for a joint one and a further $10k for the separate one.
For AOS , it's 143 lodgement date.
For your child's AOS., it should be mention on letter issued by immigration whether you have to pay for your child or not.
Usually immigration looks at circumstances when you applied for 173.
For 3 there should be 2 assurers . Also bond will be 10k for primary and 4k for secondary applicants each.

Most of times it's 6 to 8 weeks.

Vicky I know you’re anxious but you’ve asked this question lots of times and the simple answer is that people don’t know! It’s like asking how long is a piece of string? We are all in the same boat waiting - only immi and the government know what’s happening ( and I suspect immi don’t know as much as the government!) I do sympathise with you but no one can really tell you what happens for everybody else - they can only update their own progress
Please would you add your own progress with dates after your signature as others have done .
How to add signature or timeline . I don't know . Please help regarding this als0

All dears
Anyone recently got aos call please update here. Also please mention aos lodgement date if possible.
How much time after aos acceptance letter immi will take for 2nd Vac request. Please put some light here.

I paid using "Pre-pay Visa Application Charge Paper Application" option instead and had no issue.
Dear I wonder why it took so long nearly about 10 months in your case for 2nd vac invitation after aos acceptance letter. Please don't take me wrong as I am waiting for call for aos so just making guesses how long I have to wait after aos acceptance . Thanks
-
Any recent aos call please let us know. It's been 20 weeks since aos lodgement and I think it's 6 to 8 weeks more for aos call. Anyways but it's really frustrating .

Hello everyone,
I would like to ask a question about CENTRELINK AOS lodgement if someone can reply that would be highly appreciated. My assurer applied AOS almost 20 weeks ago and at the time of lodgement no acknowledgement letter or receipt, no reference number was provided to him by centrelink staff. Is it same with everyone or its just us ? We applied 4.5 months ago and have no evidence that we applied it. I am bit terrified. Please reply.
RegardsDon't worry dear. There is no receipt for aos lodgement. Just don't get worried for its 18 weeks now. I have applied on 22 August 2018 for aos. But now they are on holidays. I think they will come on 7 Jan 2019. Now it's 24 to 28 weeks for interview call. So just wait.....Don't worry

Centrelink are issuing AOS rejection letters in error. As they are so far behind their system is not recognising when documents have been provided by the applicant and is automatically sending a rejection letter.

Thanks dear. Please don't scare me regarding AOS. It's 18 weeks now since aos lodgement

Are they sending rejections even without phone call?
