Sorry if these has been asked before. We are converting from 173 to 143 and have been asked to apply for AOS.

Question: is the date of visa application our original 173 date or date we applied for the 143 conversion the date we use as our visa application date for AOS purposes?

Reason being our son was a child when we applied for 173 but an adult when we applied for the 143 so if original date then AOS application is only for 2 but if the later date of our conversion 143 application then it’s 3 adults.

Question: If its 3 adults do we need a separate AOS application from another assurer?

Question: If so does that mean we have to pay $14k for a joint one and a further $10k for the separate one.

    For AOS , it's 143 lodgement date.

For your child's AOS., it should be mention on letter issued by immigration whether you have to pay for your child or not.

Usually immigration looks at circumstances  when you applied for 173.

For 3 there should be 2 assurers . Also bond will be 10k for primary and 4k for secondary applicants each.

Vicky I know you’re anxious but you’ve asked this question lots of times and the simple answer is that people don’t know! It’s like asking how long is a piece of string?  We are all in the same boat waiting - only immi and the government know what’s happening ( and I suspect immi don’t know as much as the government!)  I do sympathise with you but no one can really tell you what happens for everybody else  - they can only update their own progress

Please would you add your own progress with dates after your signature as others have done .

How to add signature or timeline . I don't know . Please help regarding this als0

I paid using "Pre-pay Visa Application Charge Paper Application" option instead and had no issue.

Dear I wonder why it took so long nearly about 10 months in your case for 2nd vac invitation after aos acceptance letter. Please don't take me wrong as I am waiting for call for aos so just making guesses how long I have to wait after aos acceptance . Thanks

    Hello everyone,

I would like to ask a question about CENTRELINK AOS lodgement if someone can reply that would be highly appreciated.  My assurer applied AOS almost 20 weeks ago and at the time of lodgement no acknowledgement letter or receipt, no reference number  was provided to him by centrelink staff. Is it same with everyone or its just us ? We applied 4.5 months ago and have no evidence that we applied it. I am bit terrified. Please reply.

    Regards

Don't worry  dear. There is no receipt for aos lodgement. Just don't get worried for its 18 weeks now. I have applied on 22 August 2018 for aos. But now they are on holidays. I think they will come on 7 Jan 2019. Now it's 24 to 28 weeks for interview call. So just wait.....Don't worry

Centrelink are issuing AOS rejection letters in error. As they are so far behind their system is not recognising when documents have been provided by the applicant and is automatically sending a rejection letter.
