  1. If you are claiming points for your spouse, then they need a skills assessment and proof of employment. If you are not claiming points then they dont need any references or proof of employment (present or past). You just need to prove you have the points you claimed to have in your EOI.
  2. I got the Golden Mail this morning. Its a direct grant. Brisbane Team 33. We are so happy. Its such a relief to finally have it!!! Good luck to everyone still waiting.
  3. yeah its different from the EOI. you can set your usename and password to whatever you like for the ImmiAccount. your eoi and invitation will be linked to this new account.
  4. When you click "apply visa", the next step is the immi account screen. IF you dont already have one click on " Create an ImmiAccount ". That is where you will set your username and password.
  5. Massive congratulations Shelley, all that positive thinking paid off!! Best of luck to you and your family in Australia :jiggy:
  6. Another week goes by without hearing anything  I was really hoping I would get the visa or at least hear from CO. Patience is wearing thin.
  7. There is a visa tracker excel sheet where you can see some of the visa grants. Its nothing official, just people upload their timelines. It gives a general idea of how grants and co allocations are progressing. Feel free to add your timeline if you want. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AkrdCphtU8u-dGJQSWROUlZ0bThIaUF2VW9zdUZmMlE&usp=sharing#gid=0
  8. The people asking about the changes in their immi account about the medical status now saying, " Health has been finalised for this person for this visa subclass based on the information provided to the department. If this person needs to do anything further to meet the health requirement, they will be contacted by the department. There is no need to contact the department at this time concerning this matter." should be aware that this is simply part of a technical system update that happened last weekend on the immi account website in general. It does not mean a CO has been assigned or youre case is even being looked at yet. Everyone who has an immi account now sees the same message whether you lodged in June or if you lodged in August. The same goes for the "Admin Forms Documents" section. Its just a redesign of the webpage. Actually when you log into your immi account now there is even a message saying "What’s new in ImmiAccount? We have recently made a number of enhancements to ImmiAccount. You can now:- view more correspondence about your application in your account " etc, etc, ..... .......................... I dont want to dash anyones hopes, im just trying to clear some things up so people have realistic expectations of when to expect their grant. They seem to be processing 1st and 2nd week June applicants now so any one in that time frame can expect to hear soon. Good Luck Everyone
  9. I have seen another 2 grants today on expatforum.com . one lodged june 3, the other on june 9. we are definetly getting closer. fingers crossed for everyone here!!!
  10. Hi, you dont have to wait for Case Officer to tell you to get the your PCC´s. Its better to get them now, upload them because if they are not there when CO is assigned he/she will ask for them, then you have to apply for PCC´s, wait for them to arrive, upload them, wait for CO to come back to your application. You will delay your visa grant by at least a month if you dont get PCC´s before CO is allocated. Processing times are a guideline only, they aim to process 75% of applications within 3 months. Current times are around 3 months, but some people get it sooner, some later. If you have a straightforward case you should get it within 3 months. There is a bit of a backlog at the moment as the start of July is busy time for visa apps. Im 8 weeks waiting so far, hoping i will get the grant within the next month. Good luck
  11. hello 4kusnik you had CO allocated on June 5th, can I ask when did you lodge the visa application?
  12. Ok, thats same situation as me. My wife needed to do IELTS. yeah its only 4.5 you need. She got 5.5 overall. I thought it had to be done before lodgement but maybe not? well good luck with the test.
  13. also forgot to say anyone with passport from uk, ireland, canada, usa, new zealand dont HAVE TO to doIELTStest unless they want to gain extra points at the EOI stage. Having any of these passports is proof u have 6.0 in English.
  14. I think the IELTS has to be done before you lodge the visa application. At least thats how it was for me. I had to fill out the part with my Ielts results before I paid the lodgement fee. I dont know what you would write for that part of the application form if you have not done the IELTS exam yet. I think you should definitely find out more about this. The second installment is for secondary applicants who cant prove they have functional english. ie at least 4.5 in all sections of IELTS. Or if you have studied through English for a number of years. If you have at least 4.5 then you dont need to pay the second installment. The primary applicant I believe needs at least 6.0 in IELTS depending on Nationality, nominated profession etc. Good luck
