Hey Guys, 1) For how many months one can drive a car with an Indian driving licence (in VIC/NSW mainly)? 2) I have also read somewhere that one needs to carry driving licence verification letter from respective RTO in India from where the licence was issued. Is it must? If yes, Isn't it a hassle? 3) To get a DL verification letter from the RTO, is personal presence required or someone can do it on your behalf? I am not living in the city from where the licence was issued, hence worried. It will be good if someone can mention the process of getting Australian DL in brief with respect to Indian DL and related documents. Thanks a lot.

Hi, I have a couple of basic queries with regard to my PR application. A little background of the case - I am applying a PR and may seek state sponsorship of NSW. I am also going to include my wife as a secondary applicant/spouse. However, my wife has applied for her passport for the first time and passport hasn't yet arrived. 1) At EOI stage, do I need to mention my wife's passport details anywhere? 2) At state sponsorship application (NSW) stage, do I need to mention my wife's passport details anywhere? So, basically I wanted to check if I can proceed till visa application stage (the last stage before medical and PCC) without having my wife's passport details or not. CO allocated on 3rd June.. asked for PCC, Meds and Work exp documents. Sent on the same day. When can I hear next? Please share your exp.

Guys, in my case (check the timeline below), CO asked for medicals and pcc on the day of allocation itself (which I sent on the same day) and it's been more than 10 days since then. I haven't heard from CO. CO hasn't asked for Form 80 either. Just no communication! Any opinions?
