  1. That should have been calc not calf. Sorry
  2. That is a risk. But since I never has a CO I knew about but now have a visa I'm glad all paperwork was submitted. All be it the medical and police checks went in some months after the rest of my paperwork. Quick calf if all 40+ thousand 820 visa applicants do what the department recommends and submit their medical straight away then twelve months later have to resubmit. How many million dollars in un necessary medical charges does the Australian immigration industry make.
  3. No case officer that I was ever made aware of. In fact that was what I had been emailing them about 6 weeks ago. For the exact timescale. My 820/801 application was acknowledged on 13th dec 2012. So just short of 15months. I have been in country for over four years and was on a 457.
  4. As if by magic. Having waited 15 my visa arrived today.
  5. True they do vary. But the published average for 75% has gone up 15 months. Last phone conversation I had was 6 weeks ago with the department and I was advised to email the NSW and WA partner office as the NSW one was incapable of responding to emails. To date NSW has not replied and WA replied saying email NSW as it's not their problem.
  6. Wait time is now up to 15months. I have been waiting 15months and nothing yet. Cant even get them to talk on the phone for an update and they say they dont have to respond to emails despite having a service standard of two weeks to respond to an email after the 13month period is up. Medical and police checks will be out of date before anyone looks at my application.
