  1. Hey! Sorry to take over but I just started looking into transporting my pets over. Though I have a 50kg dog and two cats.. So a bit expensive. Can you tell me how much they charged you for three cats?
  2. The person who emailed us wasn't our CO. I donno who it was. Our CO hasn't responded to us at all. I think we can do that. He has the details for it, not me. I will let him know! Should we be emailing the CO or person who said we can't get an extension?
  3. Hi! Just got out case officer recently and started to get our police checks and medical together. We have been told we need them by Thursday which isn't enough time. The medical is on Thursday (first available) and we have done the Australian Police check. Still in the process of the UK one as that takes more time than they requested. Two weeks. Called them up and emailed them. Originally they said it was fine for an extension on the phone but today we received a nasty, to the point email saying no extensions on documents are allowed and my fiancé who is the visa obtainer is losing his mind, freaking out that the visa is going to be cancelled because he can't possibly get the UK police check in this time. I'm more chilled as I think if they take 13 months to even look at our application they should be patient in us getting these documents together. As we already had them and they expired because they took so long. Ugh. What should we do? Are we gonna be ohkay?
  4. Congratulations! I take it you had a case officer then? I haven't even had that after soon to be 13 months!
  5. Mine will be out of date also. Good to know about the 13 month period though!
  6. Hi everyone. After seeing a few people get their Case Officers already when they applied this year I am starting to get anxious. We applied just over a year ago and we haven't heard anything after our initial email in regards to the visa being submitted. We never got the letter. Just the email. They said it was the same. Anyway a year on I am starting to worry and just want to have this done and dusted. My SO doesn't want to be on a bridging visa forever! Should I contact them or just wait? I get worried they've lost the application or what not. It was huge!
  7. Thanks! Good to know it is 13 months .
  8. Just need some reassurance. Applied for our onshore application in February. Still no CO Starting to feel uneasy as I just want it all finished. Should I wait or contact?
  9. My partner and I have been together for a long time and he is happy to live in either country so that doesn't worry me. We will both be working. I don't want the baby until we are settled there. I just didn't know if for the partner visa his wage would need to be more if we had a child.
  10. Hi! I am Cilla and I am a 21 year old Aussie living in Australia with my English boyfriend. We used to live in England and I thought the grass was greener but I miss England so desperately and he does too. I have a couple of questions. Firstly, we want to have a baby. If I have him we can register him or her as British and get him a UK passport. Will my partner still need more income as my child with the partner visa or will it still be £18600. Might sound silly but he wouldn't have to sponsor a British person or will he need to as he's a dependent? We have applied for an Aussie partner visa. Can we leave once the temp visa is issued? What happens? I don't even want to come back but still good to know! .. I think that is it!
