  1. Cheers mate! Yes it is the mighty Liverpool FC. Dont think it matters if your onshore or offshore, least it doesnt mention that anywhere on immi site. Guidelines say around 3 months regardless of where you are.
  2. Visa Granted!!! Hi guys, my visa was Granted on Friday, much to my relief :notworthy:. Onshore applicant. 10/01/2014 WA EOI 17/01/2014 Invited by WA to apply for state nomination 04/02/2014 Invitation to Lodge 190 visa 10/02/2014 Visa Lodged 30/04/2014 First contact from CO requesting additional information. (Relationship evidence) 06/06/2014 Visa Granted!! Time for me to live my life again, no more waiting for contact or the golden email. Its all in the past and I am now planning my new life in OZ. Good luck guys, hope yours come in soon! X
  3. Congratulations Roxy!! A bit of hope for everyone! what state was it for again?
  4. 10 weeks and 2 days, still no contact from CO. :daydreaming:
  5. I lodged on the 10/02 and still not had any contact at all from the CO. It maybe that they are just very busy, depending on what state you have applied for and what your occupation is. I don't think there is any sort of time line, just depends on your CO team. 10 weeks on monday for me, surely there has to be some contact next week!!
  6. Called immi up last week, they said that I was allocated a CO on the 20th March!! Haven't had any contact from them at all. Lodged 10th Feb and front loaded everything! hope to hear something soon, been 9 weeks!
  7. 7 weeks and 3 days, still no contact... front loaded everything!!
  8. Great news Wenn66!! Seems that they are getting on with. Been 6 weeks and 3 days for me, hopefully next week I will have some sort of news
  9. Hi Roxy Thought you would of had your grant by now.. However I did check the WA migration site, on the Occupations in Demand list it says that Plumbers are schedule 2, which means there are only a limited amount of visas available for that trade. You probably already know this but just thought i would let you know as it will more than likely be the reason for your delay. Its been 5 weeks and 2 days since i lodged my WA 190 as an Electrician. Electricians are a schedule 1, so hopefully within the next fortnight I should get a CO or grant, if I am to be informed of a delay then it must be across the scope.
  10. I am an Electrician, been in oz 3 years myself. Yer i dont want to pester mine either ha, just got to hang in there and hope for the best. What skill are you? Hopefully you will get the Direct Grant! Were waiting on a life changing decision ha
  11. You must be buzzing! your grant has given me a bit of hope now, until I see anything in writing from the immi on there website or by email, then am just believing that it is going to happen! I done my medicals last Friday so should be on the system soon
  12. Congratulations Jamie!! :ssign19: Off to sunny QLD for you! Praying to be in your situation soon, all these past few posts regarding the immi and maxed out almost on visas, have got me up there wall. they have everything the need for a direct grant for me, just hope it gets sorted!
  13. Hi Roxy, are you applying from off-shore or on-shore? I am applying from on-shore in Perth, for WA. Been lodged for over 4 weeks, since 10/2/14, still no CO... Wondering if on-shore applicants will be a priority or not?
  14. Trying to find out if this is true. Did this guy in Adelaide mean the 190 and 489 visa have nearly reached there limit in Adelaide? as it did in NSW on 24/12/13. It doesn't make much sense with them reducing the waiting time to 3 months. Also reading this on Skill select website. State and territory nominated visas will no longer be subject to occupational ceiling limitations The minimum ceiling for each occupational group will be 1000 invitations. To me, this is saying that the 190 visa will no longer be subject to occupational ceilings limitations, meaning there offering to give more out so to speak?? The minimum ceiling for each occupational group will be 1000 invitations.?? Doesn't make sense to me  If anyone can explain this to mean, will be much appreciated. Just over 4 weeks since I lodged, stressful times
  15. thanks001 Am more or less certain that on 24/12/13 NSW stopped given out 190 visas for the rest of 2013/14 year because they had reached there max limit. Meaning that they wont be giving out any more until July this year. I would check the NSW immi site to confirm for yourself but am sure that I am right.
