  1. I know it is an old thread.... My partner and I are living in Sydney after 10 years spent in Perth. We'd never imagined that Perth Christmas was such a quiet one this year. We flew back to Perth for Christmas and new year (My partner is born in Perth, so we went to see family), then we realized how quiet Perth was. Northbridge was dead, Elizabeth Quay was dead .... where people were gone? Weather wasn't help much, so not many people went to beaches I guess. When we lived in Perth, people were busy for shopping (We were living near a big shopping centre) every pre and post Christmas days, but not this year. We actually worry about Perth. Perth is seemed to be a small township in NSW!
  2. I had 1 year and half full time and 1 and 1/2 year casual experience before applying. Also possessed cer 3&4, Diploma as well. My work mates have various experience... one has husband, cer3,4, dip and advance dip, 1&1/2 years casual. another one was a single, only had a cer 3, and worked for 1 year casual before applying ... both of them got visa.
  3. When did you receive your PR letter? Mine was June 2012 Mine doesn't say 2 years rule at all, and change residential address, but if I change the circumstance of employment, I need to inform them (doesn't say until when I should (like within 2 years or after two years). VEVO tells you the same things? my VEVO doesn't tell any at all.... I can imagine that Independent skilled visa letter may not state much as they have no condition...
  4. 1:Nothing you need to do. After two years (finish your contract with your employer), you decide what you do. You don't have to stay at the workplace, or even industry. Don't forget you need to get RRV after the first 5 years when you go out of Australia. 2:I don't think you need to advice about your 2 years obligation. 3:It may be different statements depending when you receive, but mine (2012) said about RRV. some other things are on the PR letter but nothing like "condition" things. 4:if you are business owner, you are required to hold them 6-7 years (sorry not sure the exact period), but if you are just a employee, just for 1-2 years after a financial year. others can explain more, but PR isn't much complicated on RSMS.
  5. many of you applied in 2013 and got visas... one of my workmate applied in 2012 june (before change) and still she hasn't heard any. She is from high risk country tho.
