  1. Hello everyone I am planing to add my younger brother into my 457 visa and already got a letter from my employer addressing to the DIBP with his particulars. Questions: # How much is the visa fees for the above ( After completing a Subsequent application under my immi account and when I am asked to submit the total amount shows is $1065??? How much it is # Other than nomination letter from my employer in the company letterhead any other document needed (Like any 457 nomination they provided me for my application???) Thanks for reading my post. Reagrds Delwar
  2. Thanks for your prompt response. Appreciated. Is it possible that I work for another couple of months as full time and cover my 24 months condition ( regardless of 24 months continuity) and then apply? Is it a must to be in 24 months continue payroll / employment or there can be leaves and breaks like my case? At the moment I have pay slips from them for about 19 months but not all of them as the initial contract. Please advise. thanks
  3. Hello I was thinking if this would possible on the following circumstances: I am on 457 since 11.09.2011 as Telecommunication Network Engineer Then got another 457 with the same employer on 03.09.2012 which expires in 03.09.2016. I worked full time till Dec. 16 2012 and then on unpaid extended leave as short of projects. Since then, I worked for them in some on call/ casual type of work and not on the same amount of payroll. So, from sep. 2011 till Dec. 2012 was worked full time as per contract and then between Jan 2013 to date some on call/ casual jobs of about 4 and 1/2 months. I am still under contract with them and my company secured projects to start this month. Under these circumstances is it possible that my company and I can apply for ENS 186 for Temporary Residence Transition? Thanks
  4. Hello Maggie Thanks for your quick response. Appreciated My current 457 expires in sep. 2016 (Quite long.. ) and I assume my 189 to be finalized before that.... Now as I understand from your reply that, I can travel to overseas as per current 457 condition but the BVA granted will be cancelled, and I am able to be back to Australia with my current 457 even the BVA is cancelled, is that correct? On my return to Australia do I have to apply for BVA again? or BVB? Is it better to have BVB before travelling to overseas so the original BVA remains as it is??? Thanks
  5. Hello All How are you? I just have joined this forum today. I am from Bangladesh and currently on 457, I have applied for 189 onshore on june, 2013 As soon as I applied I got a bridging visa grant letter/notice which indicated No Travel. I have checked that, my 457 is still active with my current employer. Questions are: # Since my 457 still active with my current employer can I travel overseas? # Is there any time difference of processing of 189 onshore and Offshore? or it is the same 12 months? # What does external and Internal Check stands for? Kind regards Delwar
