  1. Dear Friends, It has been too long waiting for our offshore 176 Family sponsored visa application processings. Starting from today I am hereby initiating series of mails, pleas and letters at National & International ministry and media level. First in this is writing to our respective Ministry of External Affairs. For India below is the link of portal MADAD (you may also find this on google, if you type MADAD indian government portal) on which you could register and write your grievance with entire details. Do attach your acknowledgement receipt also in attachment section. https://org2.passportindia.gov.in/AppConsularPr…/welcomeLink Whatever is the reply, kindly keep on documenting. Would soon post the next step in this regard. We all will have to take this jointly and aggressively further. Request all 176 FS offshore applicants to post their details so as to collate. Even if you know any other applicant who is not on this FB page, kindly request him or her to join us and provide the details.
  2. This is what I have written on Hon. PM Mr. Narendra Modi's FB page and official website and links provided by him: VERY IMPORTANT ISSUE: Large no. of visa applications (Visa subclass 176, family sponsored) are not processed and their are no timelines set for processing. Despite of writing to Minister of Immigration and Border Protection of Australia, there is no concrete reply. Australian government has full right to reject the visa applications with valid reasons. But at least processing should start or proper timelines should be given about when processing will take place. It has been more than 5 years and there is no proper pathway for these applicants. Families on both sides are waiting to unite and also we are not able to draw out our future plans because of application status uncertain. Request to kindly take up the issue with Prime Minister of Australia, The Hon. Tony Abbott.
  3. Pls visit new thread: Indian pm visit - migration issues and act now....
  4. Hi Friends, Our Indian PM, Hon. Mr. Narendra Modi is about to visit Australia and had asked for suggestions and any issues to be raised. He shall be also meeting Indian community at Australia (Sydney)Pls read his FB post: During my Australia visit in November I would be attending a variety of programmes, including an interaction with the Indian community there. I want to hear ideas & thoughts from all of you, including friends in Australia & the Indian community there on my visit. Participate in this MyGov Open Forum & share your ideas on what you feel are important issues for my Australia visit. http://mygov.in/groupissue/prime-minister-in-australia/show VERY IMPORTANT ISSUE: Large no. of visa applications (Visa subclass 176, family sponsored) are not processed and their are no timelines set for processing. 6. Hi, Visas are released according to plannings done by immi. minister and quota alloted for every subclass of visa. allocation of application then takes place through out the program year which is July 1 to June 30 every year. For outcome of no. visas released in each type you may refer to following link: http://www.immi.gov.au/media/statistics/statistical-info/visa-grants/migrant.htm Hope this might answer ur query. Regards & wish you best, Abhay
  7. hi janmal, what mail did u received from immi dept and when. If you could share something in details, hope I may be able to advice. Was your application paper or online, under FS also was ur application state designate or direct (any where in Australia) ? Regards,
  8. you may visit this site where you can get the old points table....check it out http://www.australia-migration.com/page/Old_Skilled_Points_Test/60
  9. Hi, What was ur subclass and when did u applied ?
  10. Most of Gagan's predictions had been correct.
  11. Hi, You can definitely apply for your wife's student visa and your current 176 will remain intact. Even you may apply for student visa and still your 176 application will remain in effect and moreover spouse of student shall be granted with full time work visa till the duration of course. Once you are granted PR on 176, you or your wife may continue to be a student or not, that shall be your choice. But moving to australia on student visa is very costly affair. Whoever is enrolling for course, will have to appear for IELTS (academic) and depending on university where you will apply, scores in each module will differ. Some might ask for 6.5 in each module while some for 7 in each. If you have your agent and he works in education sector too for australia, he may guide you well. you may check with him. Suggest that you enroll for PG course which shall be in high demand. Because in case you do not get your PR through 176 (looking at current indecisive scenario), atleast you will be in strong position to take the route of your PG degree.
  12. Many Many Congrats....but finally under what visasubclass are you processed, 175 or 176 ?
  13. Hi Jasonyyf, what is the subclass and cat. of this chinese applicant ?
  14. Allocation timelines page is now again available.
  15. But this allocation is too late, becoz on allocation timeline page of DIBP for VS 885 cat 5 clearance is mentioned till 31 July 2011 http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/general-skilled-migration/estimated-allocation-times.htm
