Hi, I did the visa application by myself. I would suggest you NOT to wait until CO advises IF you want to speed up ur grant. As many reasons, this delay could be up to 1,2 months easily. Do PCC and meds ASAP as meds needs more than 1 week to be cleared and PCC would cost time as well.

This means that you are already allocated a CO, and she is working on your case. PCC and medicals "recommended" means she has not received these docs from medibank or AFP, When PCC and medicals are changed to received you will be fine. As far as i know, checking PCC and medicals are the last steps of considering an application. Assuming every documents are met, you will get your grant very soon...

The timeframe could be fluctuated around 8 weeks. In my case, the CO allocation starts from week 6th. If you are worried, u can call DIAC on provided number to check whether ur case has been allocated to which team and which CO? If they answered you already had CO allocated, and you have uploaded all necessary docs including PCC and medicals. You should receive the direct grant. I think u r now very close. Be a little bit patient as in my case, it comes quite suddenly. Best of luck

BE GRANTED Hi everyone, i have followed this thread from my beginning of the 189 application journey. I got the golden email with grant letter this morning 11/11/2013 unpredictably. So excitedddd. I appreciate the information i have collected here and wish everyone will be going well with the grant coming in the soonest time. I submitted on 20/09 as well. We are now on a same boat. This is now week 5, hopefully CO will contact soon. As i can see people submitted on 20s August already got granted. Cheers
