Actually, I was looking for 342313 or 342314 but I am not really sure if I can fit to this code since if I to choose the code most appropriate for me without considering VISA type, it would be 263299 ICT Support and Test Engineers nec. Since I will opt for visa 489- Family sponsored, I need to choose ANZCO code in SOL. Though, I am particular and knowledgeable to Electronics stuff like Tosh had stated above, I am not sure if I can fit in to 342313 or 342314 but I would like to give it a try. I got confuse because I thought the assessing body will be TRA and that I need to submit documents to them and pay that 1000 aud fee. Now that VETASSESS can also be an alternative route (where fee is cheaper) for 342313 or 342314, then this could be my another option. Can you give me advise on what to consider? I cannot go for visa 189 since course in the Philippines is not treated as Bachelors Degree even if I graduated here with that. That is why I need to go to visa 489. I cannot go for visa 190 since only 1 state had availability for 263299. Regards, Marie

Thanks Tosh. Isn't your code 3423 for Electronic Equipment Trades Worker? What was your code then? Also, did you go via VETASSESS?

Hi All, Last message was almost a year old but I hope someone can still answer me on this. So if you opt for 3423 there is always an online test? or online test is done if you chose to be assessed by VETASSESS only?

Needs advise on this. I was assessed by ACS as AQF advance diploma major in computing that's why some codes for ICT under SOL were not suited for me but I still wanted to give it a try with my last option. If I will to choose code on CSOL, the best code for me is 263212 but no state offers availability of this code and so I cannot pursue with visa 190. Still there is one option left which is the family sponsored visa and I to be assess by TRA for code 342314. The trick is I am not sure if my current job fits with the code. Forum under TRA seems very less compared with ACS. Do I need to wait for few more years to gain work experience or should I give it a try?

Thank you. Since 313112 is in CSOL then i should go to state sponsorship. Sadly, I haven't found any state with availability of this code. I can go with 263111 which is in SOL but it needs to be Bachelors Degree which I am not. Hays, this is kinda frustrating. I have aunt who is willing to sponsor me, but then, I should be looking on SOL. :sad:[h=1][/h]

Hello All, Can you please help me clear up my mind on how the processing goes. I thought, any ANZCO code is okay if you apply for family sponsored 489 that is why I opt for 313112 which is in SOL2. But base on other forum and reading SOL1.pdf, only those in SOL1 is applicable for visas 489 and 189 while SOL2 or CSOL is for visa 190. Is this right? I opt for this code because I know I am not equivalent to Bachelors Degree. Since #1 seems correct, I need to choose code under SOL1 which is 263212 which requires 5 years of work experience but I only got 3yrs and 9months. Will the assessing body assess me as positive but equivalent only to advance diploma and therefore get 10 pts for Education since I am not a Bachelors Degree? Or assessment will be automatically negative since I do not meet the Bachelors Degree standard? Hope to hear from you guys. Thanks.

Hi, Just needs clarification regarding family sponsored 489. If I go with this visa, is the state of my relative and the ANZCO code a determining factor for a grant?
