1. can any one explains the below three points to me. does i need to provide any undertaking or decleration with my application to SA or this is something i will provide when i arrive in SA. 1. Commitment to South Australia1.1 State nomination is provided to meet skills needs of this state and is granted on the basis of the applicant’s genuine interest and commitment to living and working in South Australia for two years from the date of arrival, with a view to long-term settlement. You must confirm this commitment by: 1.1.1 Undertaking first-hand, thorough and meaningful research on South Australia and providing your reasons for wanting to migrate to South Australia in the online application form. 1.1.2 Undertaking research on job opportunities in South Australia and any occupation licensing or registration requirements. 1.1.3 If you are onshore, you may be required to provide evidence of South Australian residence and that your employment has primarily been in South Australia. the reference link is below pasted. http://www.migration.sa.gov.au/skilled-migrants/nomination-process/skilled-nomination-requirements
 2. hmm Ok, thank a lot for your suggestion. it really helps me out. may be you guys also face these situations during your process time..... it looks i am playing extra defensive.
 3. i have plan to go for state nomination 190 for SA. i got some advice that since i still got 60 points so apply for state nomination and wait for your better luck. some advice that i should wait few month till march 2016 so that my 8 years will be completed and i will get 15 point of work experience (total 65) so this will increase my chances of visa. i am confused. becouse if i get refused the visa fees is a big loss. i have my wife and a kid in my application.
 4. Thanks for reply. no this is not a mistake. looks i gave final exams in Dec 2006 and result comes out in january 2007. this was just a result which shows the grade or GP. on that basis i apply for job and start working from FEB 2007. i also provide my appointment letter with my application which shows the date. now in pakistan the certificate or degree award after one year or more than it. this is a useless process for which we can not do any thing. we have to follow it.now the date presented on my certificate r degree is 08 march 2008 while i am working in my skilled occupation from feb 2007. now may be you undesrstand what happened with me.
 5. hello every one, i want to share my problem with you. Today I received my skill assessment outcome. I got successful result ( by the grace of ALLAH) but I was shocked to notice that the skill assessment program officer has deducted my one year and 1 month experience of working form my whole working experience time period. I present my working experience from Feb 2007 to May 2015. By this I assume that I will get points of more than 8 years of experience. TRA accepted the employment time period after the date of issue of my MSc. Degree which is 06 march, 2008. My Master of Science education complete in December 2006 (I have provided statutory declaration letter for this with my application). I started work in my skilled employment occupation from FEB 2007. I have also provided my appointment letter with authorized attestation. I have sent all my true and genuine documents with my application. Since I am from Pakistan and in my country, the education degree awarded after the completion of one and half or two years of study. This is why the date mentioned on transcript or degree is 08/03/2008. my concern is that is case officer required some more evidence then why they don't contact to applicant. just give result what ever it is. i am much tensed because with 8 years i was getting 15 point of working experience (total 65 points) and not after deduction i am getting 10 point so my total is now 60 points. althogh i am still fulfill minumim requirement but obviously the low preference. i want to know what i do now. do i contact to TRA for this or this final and nothing will change. Please guide. thank you.
 6. Thank you "BUNGO"... "You need to just work your way through the EOI and check everything you put in. Look at your educational information. I believe there is a box about "Australian education" that is worded ambiguously. I cannot remember the details, but people used to check this if they considered their qualification was "equivalent" to Australian, but it was not intended for this purpose and people inadvertently gave themselves five extra points." you catch my error/ thanks alot. Yes i was puting yes to question about relevant aystralian education. got so much releif no. i have still not submit the EOI. now i got 65 points in EOI assessment. now i want to know what is the probablity if visa allocation. the minimum points are 60. if some one has 60 points and some one have 65 or 70 points. do they give priority to max points applicant or every one has same probablity of getting visa accepted. Please comments.
 7. Hello sir/madam. I am an applicant of Expression of interest for skilled migration. I am facing a problem while putting information in EOI online form. There is a difference between claimed point awarder by EOI portal and as per my calculation. I am claiming point on below information.

 Points score

AGE: (25-32 years) 30

Education: (bachelor degree of 16 years education) 15

LANGUAGE: (Competent English) 0

Skilled Nominated Subclass 190: 5

Work Experience: (+8 years) 15

TOTAL 65 point

My source of point’s calculation is https://www.acacia-au.com/skilled-migration-points-test.php My calculated points are 65 but when I have completed the skill select EOI form, it award me 70 points. I don’t know why this happens. I have given information correct as per my knowledge. I don’t know from where it awards me 5 extra points? This is a big trouble for me because if the case officer assessed my points and it comes wrong then my application will be rejected. Please help me in this regard. Regards, Khalid shamim EOI applicant.

 10. Hi guys, i am facing a confusion regarding writing statutory declaration for my missing pay slips of the starting days of my career. i work on probation period of 6 months for which my employer give me hard cash at end of each month. i do not have any evidence of that period in term of pay slip or in my bank account. If i do not provide it then they will deduct 6 month from my experience years and i probably loss points of 8 years. this is why i want that TRA should include these 6 month in my experience. please guide. i want to write a deceleration letter to explain this situation to TRA skill assessment authority. what should i do and in which format. any specific format you guys have. please share.

 13. Hey guys, I need to know the difference in offshore skill assessment and Migration skill assessment for TRA. here is my info. I am from pakistan. I have to apply for state sponsor 190 visa. my target state is SA. category 312412. assesing authority TRA. now i see on TRA website, there are following options 1- job ready program 2-offshore skill assessment program 3-migration skill assement program 4- 457 skill assement program 5-migration point advice Now iam little confused that i go for offshore skill assement or Migration skill aseement.??? "If you require a skills assessment and TRA is the relevant assessing authority for your nominated occupation, you will need to apply under the TRA Migration Skills Assessment (MSA) Program, unless: you are applying for a Temporary Graduate Visa (subclass 485) or a Temporary Work (Skilled) visa (subclass 457), or you are required to be assessed under TRA’s Offshore Skills Assessment Program (OSAP) , or you wish to participate in the Job Ready Program." WHAT THIS STATEMENT MEANS. i have copied it from TRA website. http://www.tradesrecognitionaustralia.gov.au/Programs/Migration/Pages/default.aspx PLEASE RESPOND ANY ONE WHO HAVE KNOWLEDGE
 14. Hello all, its great that you ppl are too supportive. I have plan to go for state sponsor 190 for category 312412. skill assessing authority is TRA. my category is in CSOL with medium availability. this is end of march and the processing time of TRA skill assessment is 60 days. I am confused to take decision that is it right time to apply for skill assessment or wait for July 2015 because SOL/CSOL changes in on 1st July every year. 1- i feel that it is risky in term of money that i do skill assessment now and after 1st july the category disappear in CSOL. then i had to bear loss of skill assessment charges. 2- can any one have idea that how much percent the categories changes every year. 3- any website or link where we can see that which category is going full or which has availability till now. Please give suggestion openly.
 15. Hi all, I need help in making employment statement for TRA skill assessment . any one who have prepared this recently or in past. Can any one give me his document for my reference. i am much confused.
 16. Thanks Maggie. i was out of my mind while seeing the CSOL. Maggie: now a days i am preparing my Employment statement which i need to submit to TRA for skill assessment. give some suggestions for preparing employment statement. any format or reference document which help me specific related to 312412.
 17. Thank you Ozmaniac. Some more information required from you. While reading TRA MSA aplicant guidelines. it is mentioned in point 2.3 as shown in below snap that "the occupation which you are applyinh for TRA migrant skill assesement should be from SOL or CSOL (http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/sol/). 312412 is not in SOL, nor in CSOL (http://www.immi.gov.au/skilled/sol/). it is present in WA and SA state nominated occupation list.(http://www.migration.sa.gov.au/skilled-migrants/state-nominated-occupation-lists) and (http://www.migration.wa.gov.au/services/skilled-migration-wa/occupations-in-demand). Now this is a confusing situation. the TRA MSA guidelines says the occupation needs to be in SOL/CSOL while the occupation is only present in WA/SA occupation list. What should i do now. Please reveiw the given link and guide.
 18. A very detailed and proper reply from Ozmaniac. Really Glad. thank you. Dear, i dont have job offer from WA. i want to apply for general state sponsor immigration(190 or 489). i have few more questions. 1- i have ielts L6.5 R 6 S 7 W 6.d so band 6 aggragate. 55+ 5 state sponsor so total 60 points. if i apply for 489 than it goes 65 points. what you suggest with you experience that do i go for 190 with 60 points or 489 with 65 points. 2-since i do not have job offer in WA (312412 is at shedule2) , as you said schedule 2 is only for job offer so i can only apply for SA with medium availability.??? 3- the assesement authority for 312412 is TRA. is it true that there application process is not online. we need to send hand filled application with required odcument by courier.
