Hi all, This thread is for all those, who are did not receive invite in Sep round and expecting their turn in October round under 489 SA. Please share your experiences. Any one have idea that how much chances is for 489 applicant with 60 pts. Occupation: 312412 TRA assessment +ve: 3rd aug-2015 EOI submitted: 8th Aug-2015 (60pts) SS SA submitted: 12th Aug-2015 (under 489) Invitation: still waiting

Captain C: the column you mentioned is 3123 while i was talking about 3124. the situation is that, in start of july 2016. my occupation was in high priority is CSOL lit of SA but after Aug round, it comes to medium availability in CSOL list . this is why i get worried that may be it comes to low availability and i don't get invitation. this is why i want to know if there is some website or link that show how many of occupation is left for invitation.

@ Allan collette: this is the list of those occupation which are at ceiling values. i want to know the number of invitations processed and given for my occupation 312412( electronics engineering technician). is there any website where we can check that in AUG and SEP round. how many invitation are given to applicant of my anzsco code. thank you.

Does any one know how to check that how many invitations are given to a particular occupation in each invitation round. like in my case, how many invitations are given for 312412 category in Aug and sep round. If any one know please suggest.

congrats bro. yaa its a long wait. more than 4 month. how you bear that long time.. in which state u have applied. if you are under 489 then i your invitation email. have they mentioned any post code or area where you are eligible to live and work.

Hi , i didn't get invited today . but i am hoping that for next round. congrats to those who received invitation and comes out from a shell of tension. good luck to every one.

Personally sometimes i feel that may be i am missing something or missed any step in process. i want to share it with you as below, 1-Skill assessment +ve ( receive letter on 3rd aug) 2-EOI submitted under 489 with 60pts ( 8th of Aug) 3-South Australia online application submitted for 489. AUD 200 fees paid. ( 12th Aug) Now waiting. Am i followed everything or miss something from process. Please share your comment. Secondly, can you share, in which state and region you are intending to go. how much EOI pts you have.

Hello cazwilkins, thanks for your response. yes it is regional state sponsored 489 south australia. i saw in your signature that you submit EOI on 10th of aug and get invitation on next day. is this true? how it come so fast. what is your category nd visa type.

hello Liegh674, i want to know after how many days of submitting EOI, you got state sponsored invitation 489. i have applied for same on 2nd Aug-2015 and didnt get any response till now. secondly , how can we select any regional area to live. does there are some options in invitation letter or they assign any regional area to us by their own. Hello all. this post is for all who has applied for state sponsor nomination SA under 489 recently. Actually i have applied for SS SA under 489 on 8th of Aug-2015 but still did not get any invitation email. is this normal that a delay of more than 2 weeks. how much one can wait for nomination or is there any date of invitation. is this delay long because i have applied under 489. i am much tensed and waiting for invitation curiously. Please share your experiences. so much thanks.

Hello all, Currently i am filling skill select EOI application form online . i am intending to go for SS 190 SA. there is an option that we check more than one visa type in same EOI, like if i put check on both 190 and 489. both are state sponsored. then what happened when i lodge invitation through SA online portal. 1- do they access my point score for both and invite for both? 2- do they prioritize it and invite for which have more point score ( i have 60 points for 190 and 65 points for 489)? 3-what happened if my points are OK for one type and less than 60 for other type. do they reject both invitations or and invitation for which ever has 60 or above points. 4- do i need to pay once 200AUD or twicw for both visa type invitation separately? Please respond to each query individually. I hope some one has also do this. can guide me well. regards, khalid

I emailed this situation to program office who send my outcome letter (TRA inquiries) and SA immigration inquiries. below is the response i got from them. it sounds that i will got 15 points of bachelors. TRA states that your qualification was comparable to at least an AQF Diploma as this is the level of the relevant AQF qualification for your nominated occupation. The relevant AQF qualification for the occupation of Electronic Engineering Technician is the Diploma of Electronics and Communications Engineering [uEE50511]. Please direct any enquiries about the awarding of points to the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP). TRA does not award points. hi there,, I just wanted to ask this question about Pakistani Passport that the second page of the passport requires either a signature or thumb impression of the passport holder, with clear instructions that the passport is not valid without thumb impression or signature of the holder. I recently got a passport for my six months old daughter, and at this age neither can she sign nor does her thumbs have clear lines required for a thumb impression. I couldnt even find information for this on any website. Can anyone tell me what should I do in such a situation. I have to apply along with my family for British Visas soon and I am wondering what to do with this scenario of the passport of my baby Any authentic help please. Pakiz

Obviously, one can not do master without doing bachelors. I have done two years bachelors degree in physics and the two years master of science degree in applied physics. total 16 years for education. i dont know how they are accessing the applicant credentials. just ruining the education and work exp.

Hello Every one. I got skill assessment positive by TRA for category 312412 electronic engineering technician. the requirement for this category is AQF level 3.[ or Diploma. My education is Master of science in Applied Physics with major in Electronics. total 16 years of Education. I submitted every thing and finally get positive skill assessment. in my outcome letter it is mentioned "Your Master of Science in Applied Physics (Electronics) qualification was assessed for the purposes of a Migration Skills Assessment as comparable to at least an AQF Diploma relevant to your nominated occupation" What does this mean? have they accepted my MSc qualification and will award 15 point in skill select or they have considering my education as AQF diploma and will award 10 points of education to me in skill select EOI. I am much confused. i am targeting SS190 for SA. if i got 15 points of education then total will be 60 points and if they award me 10 points of education then my total will be 55 and will be refused. Hello all, I am from Pakistan and i have positive skill assessment. now i am going to apply for state nomination SA for 190 visa. before this, i am much confused in understanding the state nomination requirement of south Australia for 190. please read first point "commitment to SA" and its sub points. http://migration.sa.gov.au/skilled-migrants/nomination-process/skilled-nomination-requirements. 1.1.1 Undertaking first-hand, thorough and meaningful research on South Australia and providing your reasons for wanting to migrate to South Australia in the online application form. 1.1.2 Undertaking research on job opportunities in South Australia and any occupation licensing or registration requirements. 1.1.3 If you are onshore, you may be required to provide evidence of South Australian residence and that your employment has primarily been in South Australia. My Concern are, 1-what type of undertaking these are. 2- How can i make these undertaking by research on internet or any reference are available. 3- Do i need to make these undertaking first and then lodge application of state nomination by SA online application process. Any one who have gone through this process and made these undertaking for him/herself. please guide me. PLZ share your experiences.

no, i can not go for 189 as already they deduct my work exp so by adding 5 point of state, now my total points become 60. i have heard that on state nomination (190/489) they give some how preference and fast processing. is it true? secondly i ask above that , does i need to provide any undertaking or decleration with my application to SA or this is something i will provide when i arrive in SA. i mean i have to make some undertaking to attach with my application or this is some thing i will commit when i reach australia?
