Hi, Got my Visa Grant. Wanted to thank all the members here for invaluable support and information. Unfortunately, I cant shift to Aus right now due to some new turn of events. However, I intend to use it after 1 year. The visa says I need to enter Australia once before Oct 2014 to keep my visa valid. Is there any requirement on number of days I need to spend in Aus on the first visit. Also, is there something like minimum number of days I need to spend in Aus each year to keep my 189 alive. thanks ritesh

Hi, I filed for my visa on 16th September. After that I waited for 1 month for CO assignment or any request for documents. When nothing happened, I got my medicals done, and uploaded PCC, and all relevant documents by 25th Oct. Now in evisa Health Status requirement link is no longer there. Now what is the next step. I think I have uploaded all relevant documents from my side. How soon can I expect a CO to be assigned. should I try to contact them. Also, my wife is a co-applicant as a dependent. I have not claimed any points for her skills. I have uploaded her Health, PCC and other documents. Does she need to give IELTS. thanks ritesh

Hi, I lodged my VISA on 16th September. I was waiting to hear back from the CO but I havent heard from them so far. Should I start the process of Medical and Police Verification before CO is appointed. thanks ritesh

hi sominya - I lodged my Visa application. The online status page has option to attach several documents (Health, Age etc). Do I start this process now or wait for the case officer to be appointed.

Hi Everyone, I lodged my EOI on 3rd September. I had 65 points. Any idea how much is the current waiting time for 65 points. Do I need to think about arranging extra points (say give IELTS again or some state sponsorship) or can I expect an invitation in some time. regards ritesh
