Hi guys, does any body know how long it would take to get response from Commonwealth medical officer? My medical has been forwarded to them as I got scar in my x ray. Done follow up long time ago n got discharge as well. It's been more than 20 days since my medical was forwarded to them. Haven't heard anything yet any suggestion any help guys ???

I hope you are totally rite I still need some solid indication before I jump high coz if not than it would be hard to cope with the pain been hanging there long time so just afraid I think ;? Thanks Blossom79 for being there be my friend!!!!

Hi Blossom79, well m back again with question lol My case officer said he'd forwarded my medical to commonwealth medical officer for further assessment. I have scar in my chest n had follow up and turn up no active TB so far. I was given discharged from the referred clinic. I am just wondering my case officer only asked for my medical but haven't finalised the nomination? My file was almost a decision ready. When I read email conversation btwn CO n my MA it's seems like finalising my medical could give me the final result. My main question is normally how long it will take to get response from CMO? it's been more than 13 months my patience is on the verge!!! Thanks.

Agree with Blossom79, mine was also lodged on the same day. Took 13 month just to assign to CO. could understand how frustrating to wait but reapplying its doesn't sound good to me. Instead of thinking to reapply it would be better to ring DIAC And ask about the application. There is always a hope, just have patience you will hear soon

@masadsh hope you r rite dont worry @Rami82 mine was lodged on same day and got CO on 1st of August. I was told to redo medical but haven't got nomination approved yet you will soon hear from CO hve patience God is not heartless lol

Hi guys, m new here, been following the forum since more than 8 months. We lodged our RSMS on June 2012, after being through agony n stress we are finally allocated to to CO on 1st of August n got email asking to redo medical. Nothing heard about the nomination approval? Any idea guys is this a good sign or should we ask about the nomination? Reading through this forum actually had given me strength to cope. Thanks all for sharing their story, as I did we all hang in there until the decision. Wish you all and me a good luck. I know how its feel waiting each n every second.
