Just got an amazing call from my MA on this beautiful Saturday morning, saying that I just achieved my PR finally.

I know first of all, you guys must want to know my timeline.

 

Nomination and visa: applied on 26 October, 2015

No document required.

Nomination and visa: both approved on 07 May, 2015.

From Queensland,

Processing centre: NSW PESE

Occupation: Town planner

Applicants: 2 people

 

My MA called me on 9.35am saying my nomination just approved, then 30 mins later, just now, she called again, announcing that I am a permanent of Australia NOW!!

 

Hooray!!!

It costs 50 $ to open up a city link account and you can use that money towards tolls so just get it and avoid fines. You can register 3 cars on 1 account

Well despi te of everything toll fines eventually become infringement then enforcement then sheriff warrant then it gets harder n harder. If you make a payment plan then stop paying after your pr they will add more charges.

Consequently-

Your car can be sized

Your rego can be cancelled and all paid money towards rego is wasted

Your licence may be cancelled

Your assets at home can be taken away by sheriff

Your car can be wheel clamped while it's parked at the shopping centre ( these days sheriff's target shopping centre car park)

Arrest warrant which will later show up in afp if you get arrested n bailed by sheriff or produced in court

hi everyone, my file is just allocated by case officer. they requested few document like AFP and my wife's IELTS.....

can anyone tell me how long it does take to get AFP?

Hey Mukh afp can be applied online and you will receive the letter with 3-5 business days.

I know. But my employer insists.

It's not easy ( not as a process )or recommended to change the ma unless he or she has done a big stuff up. Or you heard something which is likely to adversely affect your file.

It can be a big issue if they find out and if you have not disclosed it. I had some outstanding fines I declared and called civic compliance paid some and put the rest on payment plan. Immi must have checked it with them and nothing was asked.

But if you don't disclose something and they find out it can lead to rejection or questions can be raised.

That's right I guess mirza is right. The same happened with me. I made enquiries with the department twice I was told that my visa file has been assessed once and it's due to be assessed and if nom is done the co for visa will approve it. So I knew my visa is awaiting nom approval. However when my nom and visa got approved it did get together and same co but different from the one who requested docs.

Im NSW also very slow... 36 days so far

Not too far now trust me...

I was really heart broken when she said that. Couldnt breath for a minute.

 

Just curious guys. If any MA have bad reputation or they have been reported once or more does that really affect my application?

 

Im using a MA that my employer recommended me latet on i found out this dude isnt efficient enough

Trust in God dude. You will get it. There are a lots of reasons may be the co who has your file only works 2 days a week and keeping other factors in mind. Rest yes if your MA had cases where application had some unethical docs but ma was not to be blamed as generally applicant gets into trouble but they keep that ma in mind as well ( records ) don't want to scare you but find out more about the ma u using

My employer already had approval when he applied for my visa.He only needs to add my name in that.Thats why they decided in 8 days

So it must be labour agreement as labour agreement has pre approved nomination where the name has to be added.

I hve applied on 4th january.Nomination approved on 12th january.Then they ask for the medical on 13th january.In march they ask the employer for papers and he send them within one weak.After that I did not hear anything from immigration.

How come your nomination was approved and then they again asked your employer to send more docs. How is that possible.

Submitted: March 22, 2016

Visa and Nomination grant: May 04, 2016

Congrats @crissy31 great news. Your wait was unnecessarily long just one docs. But it all paid off at the end.

May I ask a question? For mates who has applied in Sep 15 with additional documents request, has the same co finalized your pr? My MA told me it might be different co, is that right?

I think that guy was problem in his x employer experincence ....thats the only resson of his rejection

I've been sending emails and I call them as well...all I get was reassurances

11 months waiting today...still no news:wacko:. I was told last 11-4-16 that not all applications fall within the standard model and some will require extra time or additional checks to be finalised. I'm being so sick of being patient....
