Well done guys who have just been granted PR. Dead pleased for you. We now have a CO, and are just waiting on our Irish Police checks...they have been a nightmare, we had our English and Oz Checks done straight away, but we have been waiting for two months for Ireland (lots of phone calls and emails to the local Garda Station later, we should (fingers crossed) receive it end of next week). Then thats the missing piece!!!

Ohhhh, we are getting closer now. We lodged our Visa on the 19th June, so hopefully we will be assigned a CO soon. Good luck Guys and Gals.x

Glad to see that someone has a co. well done you. Let us all know how you get on. Got our family medical on Friday and have applied for all of our PC. How lo g did it take anyone to get their Oz PC? Also, who's applying onshore?

DO NOT TOUCH GLOBAL VISA'S. We went with them and thew messed us around soooo much, a complete joke, 3 1/2 years later we are using a lawyer and have just put in our application. GV actualy lodged an invalid visa for us last year...we lost all the money!!!!! Please be careful with them, i wish someone had warned me abut them.....

Don't want to sound mean, but I'm glad it's not just me hopefully it will be back up and running soon. Good luck, give us a shout if you notice it is working again and vice versa.

Well I hope you have a speedier outcome than us.... We have been doing it for three years!!!!! But don't fret, the main problem was our crap agent, kept giving us wrong info. We are now with a lawyer and finally have it actually lodged. We tried many different ways, before going through with the 190 visa. The whole process seems pretty quick. Book in for your IELTS as soon as poss would be one but of advice and start getting all your references. That part was a mare for us, as we have been in Oz for 4 years and my hubby is a bricklayer and we gave worked all over the UK and Ireland, so trying to track down old people for references from 10 years ago was tough. Also all our oapereork( marriage Cerys etc) were still in the uk, so we had to get copies if EVERYthing. If you are all in one place it shouldn't take you long at all. Good luck

Anyone having difficulty in tracking their visa? I was given a TRN yesterday, but every time I go to look at it, it says system unavailable, anyone else having the same issue?

Hi, congrats on getting your visa. we have no problems in activating our Visa as we already live in Sydney on a 457 visa, so we want it to be 'activated' as soon as possible, basically we just want the PR to come through ASAP.

Our lawyer has all our paperwork, the only thing we haven't done is our Medicals and Police checks, we need them for Irealand the UK and OZ. Do you think we should go ahead and get them done now? Our lawyer says to wait a month but i am so keen to not have this process go on any longer that it has been already ( we have been trying for 3 1/2 years to get our PR). Any comments would be great. We are currently living in Sydney with our baby and my hubby is a Bricklayer and are going through him. Any one in a similar situation? Cheers

Man alive, we are gonna go on the best holiday when and if we get our Visa!!! Just found the May 190 gang, kind of got me really excited. Did you apply for your PC before you were assigned a CO? Are you applying on or off shore, there seemed to be a bt of a difference on the May gang? We are currently already living in Sydney. nail bitting stuff eh!!! ;0

Hi, I have just been told today that we have been invited to apply for our 190 Visa....whhhoooooo. Has anyone got theres through and how long did it take? We don't have our medicals or PCC yet as we have been told by our lawyer to hang on. Any info would be great, we are so close (have been doing this for 3 1/2 years, we are on our second Lawyer and just cant wait to have our PR). Thanks guys,
