  2. I noticed, normally they issue grants during the second half of the month. mostly from 20 to 30th of the month...
  3. They call main applicant most of the time and sometimes sponsor as well. Just ask questions about their relationship, information that you provided while applying for the visa. They sometimes ask questions about the proofs you provided for the visa. Date of birth, date of marriage, dates are very important. They also confirm the address of the sponsor from the applicant. Also, ask how much money the sponsor usually transfer to applicant and date of the last transaction etc...

  10. I am on Skilled Independent Permanent Visa (189) and came to Australia in April. Now I want to apply Partner Visa subclass 309/100 for my wife and kids. I have only 2 questions. 1. Do I need to have a job or source of income in order to be granted partner visa subclass 309/100 for my wife? Actually I came here a couple of months ago and didn't find any job yet. What if I apply this visa without job? 2. In a form 40SP by sponsor (me), they asked the current accommodation type, number of bedrooms, no. of people living in that house/apartment. As I am alone here in Australia at the moment and I only need a room now. So do I need to get a multiple bedroom apartment even before applying for my family? In addition, I don't know how much time the Immigration department. I would really appropriate seniors' expert opinion and guidance.
  11. Attention Software & Application Programmers (2613--) I have worked and prepared a sheet for EOI backlog clearance history for Software & Application Programmers (2613) . Where I have calculated in how many days, how much backlog cleared for 60 and 65 pointers and when occupation ceiling occurred and when there was no backlog for all invitation rounds. This is for fellows who are waiting for Invitation so that they can see the trend and predict for their chances. If anyone can suggest to improve this sheet. You can post your comment on the sheet or on relevant cell. Please press Like & thanks if my work helped you Software & Application Programmers (2613) EOI Backlog Clearance History

  13. Yes, it was same field and same job/occupation.
  14. I have been working for the last two employers for three years in paralell (at the same time from 2010 to 2013) for full time. I do not want my parallel employment period considered to be double. But just want to make sure that there should not be any problem for working in two companies in parallel. The full time work requirement is 20 hours per week or more but I have been working for more than 25 hours a week in each company. I hope there would be hundreds of people who have been working in multiple companies at the same time. But I am not sure how DIAC CO see this.
  15. Thank you very much for your kind guidance. It really helped :-)
  16. I got my skill assessment from ACS 13 months ago for 8 years of experience (3 years in company X and 5 years in company Y) (May 2005 to May 2013) to claim points required. ACS assessed my qualification and skills suitable but they have not included (deducted) first two years of experience to meet the suitability criteria for a skill employment and mentioned “Skill Level Requirement Met Date” two years after I started my first job. So I couldn't claim points for 8 years at that time. Now in May 2015, my work experience will be of 8 years (apart from that two years deduction). and I am still working in the same company Y for which I got my skill accessed 13 months ago. So my question is, can I use the same Skill assessment letter from ACS (done in Dec 2013) to claim 8 years of experience (will complete in May 2015) or do I need to apply for a new assessment? On assessment letter the month and year of my employment are mentioned but the company I am still working in is same. what should I do? Look forward to your expert guidance.
  17. I mean to say the actual application form and not the EOI.
  18. Respectable experts, I got my skill assessed from ACS through an immigration agent and got positive assessment. Unfortunately, after that my consultant/agent added long (unnecessary) delays in proceeding of my case and preparing things. They even unable to submit my EOI for several months and for that I am not happy with their services at all. But the problem is, they have my original positive skill assessment letter which they don't willing to provide as they wanted me to stick with them. On my multiple requests, they've only provided a PDF copy of my positive skill assessment letter but with their company name watermark/stamp on the text on both the pages. But all the text is still readable (including dates, reference number addresses etc.) My question is, if I start my case by my own, will I be able to use that skill assessment letter (with a couple of watermarks on it)? What problems/difficulties I could face in this regard? Is there any way to obtain the original? Otherwise, it would cost me another AUD 500,- to get my skills assessed again. Moreover, I will have to wait for another 3 or 4 months which could result in loosing my age points :-( I would really appreciate your kind opinions and help. Best regards
  19. Hi all, I am thinking to apply for a visa subclass 190 but confused that how difficult is to complete the form. I am getting consultancy from an immigration agent but It seems they are too slow in preparing things for me. So I am now thinking to start by my own. Is there any link from where I can download and check the application forms for 190 & 189 subclass? (I tried finding this form on australian immigration website but I think they made these forms available after EOI invitation in SkillSelet)? and is there any guidance available on internet to fill these forms. I would appreciate your help. Best regards
  20. @foo thanks for your reply. Was this type of statement from ACS do not create problem for the applicant before? My consultant mentioning that DIAC recently started to consider this type of statement from ACS but before everybody were able to claim points for full employment period even after getting this type comments from ACS. Is it true? Is there any new rule introduced?
  21. Hi Respectable seniors, I have 8 years of experience as a Software Engineer which was required to claim points to lodge my visa application. I have two employments, 1st from May 2005 to May 2008 and 2nd from May 2008 to July 2013. So I have more than 8 years of experience which I mentioned in my skill assessment application. I applied for Skill Assessment and got reply from ACS (Australian Computer Society). In response, ACS wrote the following regarding my employment. "The following employment after May 2007 is considered to equate to work at an appropriately skilled level and relevant to 261313 (Software Engineer) of the ANZSCO Code Dates: 05/05 - 05/08 (3yrs 0mths) Position : SOFTWARE ENGINEER Date: 05/08 - 07/13 (5yrs 2mths) SOFTWARE ENGINEER" 1. Now I wonder, can I claim points of 8 years of experience? or will it be rejected from DIAC? 2. Was this type of statement from ACS do not create problem for the applicant before? My consultant mentioning that DIAC recently started to consider this type of statement from ACS but before everybody were able to claim points for full employment period even after getting this type comments from ACS. Is it true? Is there any new rule introduced? Below is the screenshot of my skill assessment for employment section. Can anyone guide/help that what I have done wrong that ACS haven't considered my full employment period? Is there something I can do? I really appreciate your expert opinion.
