I noticed, normally they issue grants during the second half of the month. mostly from 20 to 30th of the month...

They call main applicant most of the time and sometimes sponsor as well. Just ask questions about their relationship, information that you provided while applying for the visa. They sometimes ask questions about the proofs you provided for the visa. Date of birth, date of marriage, dates are very important. They also confirm the address of the sponsor from the applicant. Also, ask how much money the sponsor usually transfer to applicant and date of the last transaction etc...

One of group members (Zain) facing issue accessing the forum after upgrade. So i am posting his message below. Congratulations bros who got grant after suffering for ages. It's understandable u guys gonna get bzy. It's would be much appreciated if u guys can share some thing regarding ur ""initial entry date""and last demanded document before visa grant.thanks and best of luck with ur new life in australia with your family.

Alhumduliallah, I lodged visa application on 25 September 2016 and today (28 Feb 2017), just an hour ago, received interview call (after 156 days). I am on Skilled Independent Permanent Visa (189) and came to Australia in April. Now I want to apply Partner Visa subclass 309/100 for my wife and kids. I have only 2 questions. 1. Do I need to have a job or source of income in order to be granted partner visa subclass 309/100 for my wife? Actually I came here a couple of months ago and didn't find any job yet. What if I apply this visa without job? 2. In a form 40SP by sponsor (me), they asked the current accommodation type, number of bedrooms, no. of people living in that house/apartment. As I am alone here in Australia at the moment and I only need a room now. So do I need to get a multiple bedroom apartment even before applying for my family? In addition, I don't know how much time the Immigration department. I would really appropriate seniors' expert opinion and guidance.
