Many thanks , he wears glasses and his BMI is 27 so not perfect but can't believe they are weight prejudiced under BMI of 30 ! Half of uk would never get in ! Lol . 3 months wait sounds fun tho so may aswell just put it all on the backburner then . Will the clinic tell u what grade u r for yor medical? Our 4th time back to oz but this time on a 189 and blimey each time we go it gets tougher and longer...... Better put him on a strict diet! , thanks x

Okay so now husband medical referred . No idea why as he has no medical record past or present and the medical/ X-ray/ bloods all were fine we were told . Uk nurse hence the cxr and bld tests . Is this random? Any ideas? Worth chasing up somewhere? Anyone else been in this situation and how long did it take????? Blimey first our application gets stuck between uk and oz then suddenly it goes ahead quickly only to get stuck again ! Straightforward applicants ..... Or so we thought! Lol x

blimey all so different, we lodged/paid 28/3 and uploaded all documents including police stuff and nothing so far..... no CO contact or told to get medicals yet....... 11 weeks this friday and feel totally stuck not had medicals as thought u had to get told to get them done by CO but may consider frontloading........ does the case officer email your email address or is it all done thro message board on your visa page?? x

just used normal british postal service at my local post office - the top level ie signed delivery and trackable-have send loads over the years on/off and never gone missing....so far x

many thanks wrt Case officer thingy its just that u all talk about your case officer/or document when u got your case officer allocated and it is all a lot quicker than whats happening at our end.....so how do u know if a CO has been assigned? email direct from them or message on your visa pages??? front loading our visa with medicals is probably our next step but with no contact whatsoever wrt our documents we have uploaded or CO known to us its does all seem to be taking a lot longer for us than what iam seeing on other threads and in your timelines.... we are 11 weeks from lodging this friday..... just feel like paid several thousand dollars and not even getting any feedback or info wrt documents we have provided or if to go for medicals ...... i think we are fairly straight forward uk applicants.... any tips again gratefully taken on board or shall i just drink more wine and chill out? ! x

Applied and paid for visa 189 28/3/13 and still no case officer.... we got stuck 'inbetween systems' on phoning adelaide ( as our visa 'page' looked odd so we phoned them several times....) and have been assured we have been unstuck but now 10weeks since application paid/lodged and nothing all documents uploaded and only medicals to do...... anyone else gotten stuck in this glitch ? anyone know what timeframe is for 189? is it time to get an agent or frontload with medicals or just be calm and keep ringing adelaide ??? 65 points-eilts/police etc etc all done and in date....etc etc grateful for any help as losing patience and the will to live now !!!! x

yep, on the last page all our names are listed but it says ' no next steps are available' under each name altho it allowed me to upload all my stuff etc no idea if should have done this but it allowed me to upload everything ok however unable to upload for rest of family unless it goes under my name hmmmm that screen has never changed since 28/3 other than a whole heap of uploaded stuff under my name....wondering if i should paysomeone to check it all for us but again dont want to panic too son as only 4 weeks this coming weekend.... thanks

hiya sorry if all this has been asked before but..... 189 completed and submitted with payment 28/3/13 and staus says submitted/receipt can be printed....blah blah uploaded every certificate i own/brownie badges/swimming badges...blah blah then tried to upload husbands and kids stuff ie passports/id/his skills asssessment stuff but no access to their 'bit'- only my name keeps popping up on the upload section...... hence uploaded everything into my section.....hmmmm never have i seen the word 'lodged' is this a problem? they have taken my cash tho'..... obv no CO allocated yet....web says 4 weeks but on another page it says 10 weeks ??? am i missing something or is this normal? police checks and ielts etc all uploaded why am i not seeing the word lodged? is it better to use an immigration team? how long is average wait on 189 now to get a CO? not done medicals yet as no idea if iam even in the system yet/where would they send the results etc if no case officer etc..... i was told my application was now in 'australia' at the start from the london offices but nothing else... is there a number i can ring in adelaide or brisbane to chase it all up or a form i can fax/email to them? feeling a bit stuck and no idea if progressing or what? any help to calm my anxieties grateful! thanku
