It should be a hardtime, we r nearly there though, just a matter of time. Booking by calling them doesnt charge you straight away. You know, actually I did undergo a medical check(for PR im sure, everything includled) at the time when I appled for TR, but, to my surprise, I still have to be charged another $332 to repeat the medical.

One month, really? Then I have to wait patiently. I thought it would be quicker coz I have heard from a lucky one who got a co in 10 days. I was asked to provide Form 80 when I was doing my working visa, not sure do I have to complete a new one, a big form. Canberra has been freezing cold, but their nomination warms me up, haha. Good luck!!!

Have u received any outcome from the medical centre? In AUS, we will receive an envelope from the centre. I just uploaded the receipt coz Im not allowed to open the envelope of medical result. Btw, I'm in AUS at the moment and did the health check in Mel. I'm sure the department will be able to check the result online. I also applied the working visa i'm holding with the same receipt, so I think it will do. I hope this helps!

I elodged my ACT sponsored 190 Application on May 23 and uploaded the documents required, waiting at the moment. Fingers crossed!

Hi, everyone. I was told by my agency that ACT SS sumitted on May 8 was granted and the invitation letter was also received. Then I checked the date of approval, May 16. OMG, Im still shocked. What a big surprise!

Haha, yes, and you are a lucky one, the software category almost reaching its ceiling. You made it before the door closes.

I assume the state govt has its own occupation quotas and ceilings for each category on SS list and thats why they r classified as open, limited etc. The department, on the other hand, also has quotas for each occupation group. then we have to go through it as well. Does that make sense?

Hi Ishaan, Im going to apply for ACT SS soon. good to know ur application has been processed, they r kind of efficient. Im just confused why there r limited invitations for a specefic category, coz I think the invite will be sent to u right after ur SS is approved. Is occupation ceiling only for 189 applicants or both 189 and 190?
