Hi This included 3 months for a medical to be referred and had to wait for July the 1st for my job to come back on the schedule list for Adelaide. So in that respect very happy. Of you see some of the threads some people have been waiting for 6 months for referrals and still waiting. Things are slow moving at the moment Thanks kathy Good luck on your move:biggrin:

Hi to all I would just like to offer some help to those starting the emigrating process. After 16 months I eventually got my 190 visa at the start of this month. I used the agent EMIGRATING SOLUTIONS Cornwall. Mr Paul Trigg. I would highly recommend him as an agent. nothing was too much trouble and he kept us informed all the way through. he even put up with my numerous calls about things I was concerned about but soon he laid my mind to rest. I know lots of people don't use agents but I found it extremely useful. To have someone available to answer all your questions professionally and also to do all the paper work ( which relieves you of a lot of stress) is price less. Hi We got our visa on 2nd of may. Have to make our first entry by Feb 14th 2014, and our visa will expire on May 1st 2018. Hope this helps Kathy

Hi Had the long awaited phone call this morning just before eight. Visa granted. In a complete tizz for most of the day. Meds 5/02 referred 14/2 Visa granted 1/05 Hang on in there everyone, I was prepared for the worst but fantastic surprise today . Good luck kathy:biggrin:

Hi Andrewneville Just to let you know we were referred 14.02.13. Agent spoke to agent two weeks ago and was told at least another 2 months and not to ring back. That will take us to 4 months. In saying that people have had them sooner. Trying not to think about it but still checking mobile every day Keep smiling Kathy :wacko:

Hi Terry I can understand your frustration we are in the same boat even though we send all the relevant docs from consultant at the medicals. In regards to the email I would not. The path to a visa is very bumpy and long. You are almost there it's nom point now. Just use it ti vent your frustration. Not worth upsetting important people at this point. We started the process Jan 2012 just waiting this long due to delays there end not with us. Just need to accept Everything there end takes longer. Hi all 10 weeks and counting. Not getting any easier. Does any one know how they te classify the referrals . Is is non serious first or as they come. Thought ours would be straight forward. Letter from my husbands consultant saying all fine and no cost would be involved. Just can't get my head round how they work Kathy:confused:

Hi We are in the same boat medicals referred 9 weeks ago and still waiting. I believe the problems occur if your condition will cost the Australians $30,000 in the first year or $250,000 in a lifetime. I think we will be fine there just seems to be a huge back log at present. Hang in there, lots f us are Keep us updated Kathy

Hi Referral pain but should be, ok have all documentation from consultant saying all good, no cost, no effect on work etc etc. I am a primary teacher so intend to o on supply first then hopefully get something more permanent . Husband works as a call centre manager so hoping he'll get job first. Still have to sell house at the moment so fingers crossed . How about you x
