Majority of the people that call should not be calling (e.g 1 month since ACK and they start calling AHC every week). So basically the CO are not interested in talking to anyone. It's the mentality of Pakistani people that if you call constantly, somehow you'll get the visa sooner. The whole system is messed up, pretty much like everything else in Pakistan. That being said, customer service does not exist in Pakistan so i'm not surprised about the rudeness and what not.

I suppose, Form 54 is used for determining family composition and might work as FRC.

 

When I was submitting my application, AVAC staff instructed to include PCC, Form 54 and any required document listed in both AHC and AVAC checklist, and I had to arrange those documents before my appointment, without such documents AVAC wasn’t accepting my application.

 

I'm surprised that how AVAC accepted applications without PCC and Form 54? Let me know.

That can't be it. My wife filled out that form (form 54) when applying yet they still are asking for a Family Registration Certificate.

I don't even know what FRC we need to provide. All it stated in the document was: "Certified copy of your computerized NADRA Family Registration Certificate issued by Union Council with your sponsor’s details."

Hey ABG, My wife went to NADRA and asked for Family Registration Certificate. They said to provide them with Form BAY which she did not have so they said to have that made first and then Family Registration Certificate can be made. Is this true?

What do we require exactly to get the Family Registration Certificate made? And you are right, it needs to have my (sponsors) details as it states in the document.

Marriage Registration Certificate is issued by Union Council not NADRA .... and for that you need original Nikah Nama ,Photo Copy and CNICs of couple

They've asked for NADRA Family Registration Certificate. Already provided Marriage Certificate at the start.

Pretty much the same as you aaddee17. And yes, Family registration certificate is Bay form. I won't be submitting that since my wifes family don't have that made yet. I do really hope its not that big of a deal.

Not sure about India, but when you apply from Pakistan, you only submit (for visa 309) form 80 when requested.

Form 888 is a must.

To obtain the police certificate, should the applicant just go to the police station and ask them for the form or what?

Been a week since medicals and additional information already requested including character requirements. Guess that's good news for me.

Most females that applied in March are receiving medical requests afaik. When my wife went to the clinic, the other patients there had also applied in March.

I think you need to be an Australian Citizen or have PR to claim newstart allowance. Basically when you sign up for that, centrelink will sign you up to one of the agencies that help you find a job. You get paid from centrelink (roughly $400-$500) fornight until you find work. More information can be found at: http://www.humanservices.gov.au/customer/services/centrelink/newstart-allowance

You might want to give centrelink a call and ask about the options available to you since you might not be eligible for newstart..

You are mistaken buddy. My wife was sent request for medical one month after lodgement. Nowadays they are asking for medicals earlier in the application process. Don't get your hopes too high. It could still take 6 - 8 months

Who's mistaken and about what? Don't think anyone mentioned anything about visa being granted soon. Just that Medicals coming in is a good sign.

We applied on the 15th of March and received acknowledgement on the 19th March.

Great news, my wife JUST received medicals request.
