  1. Hi All and Congratulations to those who got there Visas and Those who are still waiting for the good news will hear it shortly Inshallah

Well im new to this forum and i lodged my wife's applications about 6 months ago and recently i had recieved an email stating that the case has been transfered to the Decision Making, can anyone tell me what does that means? how long more should i have to wait? if its the final step?

    Help me out Guys

Yes that is the final step. If you provided all the evidence and the decision maker is satisfied (99% of the time they are), then you should be receiving your visa in max 1-2 weeks. After i was told that my wife's visa had been forwarded to decision maker, it took less than 2 weeks to receive the good news. My wife also applied this year, mid March.

  2. Hi,

First I used to call AHC (ISB) but later I started emailing them. Last week I asked my husband to email AHC (ISB) to put a pressure on them. So he emailed but they replied that he's not authorised to receive updates about his wife's application process. I want to know ho did you manage to get updates about your wife's application process through email? Has your wife received her visa letter?

    Regards,

    ferrous

You just have to contact them through the email that's listed in the main form (48SP). Yes my wife did receive her visa letter via email.

  3. Just a little tip for those waitings (female applicants). If you applied more than 3-4 months ago and have not heard anything so far, might be a good idea to try contact your CO via email (don't try phone).

Its rare but sometimes your file ends up being underneath a huge pile by misplacement and you wait a long time. I know someone who waited over 12 months due to that. Her visa took over 15 months.

  4. There's no FRC on any checklist. And FRC is not form 54 it seems because i submitted form 54 when i applied.

And also, form 54 is just about family information, has nothing to do with husband/wife information being together showing they are married.

"NADRA family registration certificate is like form B. Before marraige you

have a form B with details of your parents and siblings. After marrige you

can have your own Family Registration Certificate"

  5. That is correct XaraBB, it isnt listed in the checklists but my CO is in contact with me at the moment insisting that i send the last piece of Additional info remaining (i.e Family Registration Certificate) and NADRA want my original NIC to make it when i live here in Australia. Just great, really...... Can't you get the FRC made with sponsors photocopy NIC? Why on earth do they even need the original..

It's going to take a week for it to be sent to Pakistan and then making it and sending it to AHC =_="

    Really annoyed.
