Thanks for your reply. I dont have a qualification as such and he does so thats the reason that he will be the main applicant. Agents have quoted us about $3500 for their services and then we will have all the other charges on top. So if anyone has done it themselves before I would love to know. Our situation is straightforward. We've been together 5 years, he has been qualifed as a Fitter since 2006. I'm 27 and he's 28, good healt etc. I have no prblem filling out paperwork and that but I'm afraid that I might do something incorrect and the visa may be rejected or the process may be delayed. I think from reading different stories I'm just a little freaked out. Did u submit your application yourself, how difficult did u find it?? Thanks, D ;-)

Hi Everyone! I am completely new to this site but really hope than someone can point me in the right direction. Basically, my boyfriend & I are looking to apply for a skilled migrant visa. He will be the main applicant as I have already used my WHV. Question is; 1. Do we try and apply ourselves? 2. Do we get the help of an agent? (we have been quoted $3500 just for their help) Its seems like theres so much to do along the way, and its gonna take a long time and alot of €€€€!! Can anyone share their experiences with me please!! :rolleyes: x
