  2. Thank you for the reply. I'm pretty worried they are goin to reject it. If I believe it is unlikely to be accepted, would it be better not to apply. Leave the country and return on a evisitor and then apply. From what I have seen there are not any no further stay conditions on evisitors. thanks
  3. Hi all, it appears I will loose my current employment and thus my RSMS application. Me and my partner are going to appoint for defacto partnership. The issue is because I am not on a substantive visa I need to overcome schedule 3 criteria. I have a meeting with an immigration lawyer on Monday but I am freaking out. One question I was hoping someone could help me with is... when I send in the application does the schedule 3 criteria need to be addressed straight away or when it's handed to the case officer (in 12 to 15 months according to immi). Thank you I advanced
  4. Hi all, After much consideration I have decided to cancel my RSMS (187) application and apply for the partner temporary visa (820). My only concern is working rights, I am currently on a bridging visa that does have working rights, so will I have working rights on the new bridging visa? If not is there exceptional circumstances that I can request working rights? Last question is, there is a 28 day period between cancelling my RSMS and having to leave the country, this doesn't give me much time. If it gets close to the 28 days is it possible to apply for an extension? Thanks in advance
  5. Hi, Apologies if this has already been posted. I currently have a 187 RSMS application being processed. I have worked for a particular company for about a year now, I was originally offered great career growth and sponsorship, so obviously I accepted. At the last minute we lodged the application, he made me sign a new contract, which basically gave me a pay cut and no career growth. He has turned into Mr Hyde and I am hating every minute of my employment. I keep hearing different things from different people in regards to quitting before the two years is up. Anyone left their employment soon after their visa was granted? My question is: when my application gets approved, what is the likelihood of my visa being cancelled if I take up alternative employment (in the same region and profession)? Thanks in advance.
