  1. Again many thanks for your replies. I promised to update you, I emailed my CO my withdrawal letter and requested a VAC refund. I followed this up with a phone call tonight and he told me what you have already said that this is currently a common problem and the Diac are looking into. He agreed to process the refund and will email me the details. I was relieved by this but will wait till the money is back with me then i will be happier.
  2. Thank you all so much. I kinda feel better knowing I am not the only one misled by the wording of things I will call the case officer tonight then withdraw andexplain that it was an honest mistake. That link has been so helpful, i am going to contact the person who got a refund to findout how they did it. i will update update this tonight.
  3. "you received an invitation from the Department to apply for a SkillSelect visa (SN190). The score stated in the invitation to apply for the visa was 65. This score was based in the information you provided in your expression of interest. On 21 December 2012, you submitted an application for a SkillSelect visa. This application was assessed on 21 January 2013. I determined your score when assessed to be 60. It is the department ’s view that the score stated in your invitation to apply for the visa was calculated correctly on the basis of the information you gave in your expression of interest. In your Expression of Interest you stated you met the Australian Study Requirement. This response allocated you 5 points." This is from a letter I received this morning for my newly allocated worker who will be refusing the visa if i dont withdraw the case. I may have made a mistake on my expression of interest but Ido meet the required 60 points for this visa. I can not access the information on my skills select any longer and can not tell for sure if i made a claim for the 5 points. I am at my wits end having folked out another £2000 and sat an IELTS test to get to this point. I am hoping to speak to my case officer tonight but right now I am a bit piied off by sheer lack of commonsense. I have never been to OZ and my application clearly states that so how can I claim to have studied there (common sense should be that it must be a mistake). I do meet the required points with or without the extra 5 so based on that.... Please someone help and advise...
  4. I had a similar experience last year when i applied for a 176. My CO pretty much stated that i shld have waited to be asked for meds and pcs. Unfortunately for me the Co sat on the case then refused the visa after 11mths and stating that i dd not have enough points. I lost my money for meds and have to redo the whole thing again. Iam waiting for CO now. I hope it works out well for you.
  5. 190 lodged-21/12/2012- all docs uploaded apart from medicals and pcc. I am waiting for CO now.
